Domain Flipping?

INTERNET MARKETING

Now i already read a few different approaches to domain flipping, for example to sell them to local businesses or as a kind of website flip. I think i figured the general principles out, which is less about the content but the kind of backlinks and such, SEO and so on. So generally just a filler page and a lot of marketing.

However, i am very confused how to get this started. I see domains as low as 10$ on DP, or 20$ on SP. Then on the other hand domains on Sedo for a few grands.

Has someone a simple step by step tutorial on this kind of domain flipping, at the best a short-term approach because i would like to get some starting money before i try long-term flips for a few grands...

I found a few interesting blogs, but it is hard to find any good info for free and i don't want to spend money for an in-depth guide because first i want to get my feet wet in that market to see what kind of help i need.

I don't care if i have to join a list to get a starters-guide

Every other ressource would be cool too. I actually found two boards on domain flipping, but i can't find some good stuff for beginners who aim to make some short-term profits there

I think a good starting point is to try to take a look at what it is that makes there be a perceived value to the domain that is for sale. It is probably best to look at the domains that are for sale in the $xxx range ($100-999), as these sites are likely in a range that could be duplicated more easily. Usually the $xx sites are not worth pursuing unless you can find a system to sell them en masse. And the $xxxx+ sites usually have something special about them that is not easily duplicated in a short period of time.

People buy domain names and sell them at higher prices for profit. Some people have become millionaires from this Domain Flipping business.

The article is nice to read and understand. You can search 'Domain Flipping' on the Internet and find lots of useful resources.
