Urgent! How to make $$$ while building list???

That's a tough one.. it's hard to make money without first spending money and making an investment. With online money making, sometimes it's like planting a tree.... Lots of hard work before it finally starts to bear fruit.

You're probably better off using an extra part time job or something for 'quick money'. Fiverr won't be much help cos even if you get quick sales, you have to wait 14 days or so to get the money into Paypal, then another couple of days to transfer it to your account.

Maybe selling sites/domains you have that you don't need?

You could offer a SUPER good service on forums like this one... For example, you could offer to write MASSIVE high quality articles of thousands of words for $5 or $10. Not many people are able to write THAT much for such a small amount, so if you are desperate you could do it and you'd probably get some quick sales.

how about hiring a coach?

Do you have other skills that can be utilized online? Do you know web and/or graphic design? Video creation and/or editing? Proof reading, text-to-speech transcription, voiceover.. these are just a few examples of services you could offer (both here, and on Fiverr, oDesk, Elance etc) and make money online.

I'd say go with Fiverr, easy and the $4 ads up after a while. Plus you can get the money out in as soon as 2 weeks.

I know that you need to make money with your list in an urgent way, but it ain't gonna happen if you are building a list for the first time, or you are just building another set of list from scratch.

Making money with your list is not going to be easy, and it is not an instant way to make money, neither a push button system that will make you a millionaire overnight. You need a lot of hard work, effort and some great value that you should give to your subscribers.

For example, if you are planning to set a free mini course to your subscribers, you need to set your follow-up emails for a period of 5 days, before you can finally start promoting relevant affiliate products and make money with them. You really cannot make a living with list building without the presence of value.

Step 1: Create a product

It's really hard to make money if you aren't selling something!

Use your product and a One Time Offer after people buy your product to make money while building your list instead of giving away free offers to entice sign ups.

Create an autoresponder series that teaches people valuable content and introduces them to your paid services and products.

For immediate money now, sell your services. Fiverr for low amounts of money but high amounts of customers, Odesk/elance for more money but much tougher competition.

If you have no skills to offer a service, find away to resell someone else's services/products.

Do it well enough and you can keep your self afloat while you buld your list!

List building> with professional Investments> Profits.

List Building> Without Money> a collection of waste emails.

You can offer something that is beneficial to your visitors like giving them free report or free ebook that is related to your website

James, I took a look at your site and opted in to your email list. The first thing I noticed is that you have confirmed opt-in enabled. You may want to test whether it is better to leave it on or turn it off.

After that, your thank you page doesn't have any related offers. Many marketers find that offering something on this page works because you are hitting them while they're hot. I myself have had some success with this, but my traffic isn't high enough yet to really guage how well this works.

Finally, and this is extremely important, your follow up email includes a hoplink to a squeeze page. Why would you waste precious real estate to build the list of a vendor? They are probably telling you that your hoplink is going into all of their emails, which is probably true, at least for the first several emails. But you want your list to see you as the trusted expert and buy products on your recommendation. If you are hoplinking to squeeze pages, you are undermining this, and forcing your subscribers to go through an extra step (or two or three, if the vendor also has confirmed opt in enabled) before they can actually buy anything!

The need for making money NOW NOW NOW usually is the kiss of death for any chance of wealth derived from IM. Things take time. No doubt millions of dollars of WSO have been sold chasing the ephemeral dream of making wads of dough by next Friday, but it's just a selling hype.

If you need money now, do some WORK, get a job, cut grass, etc.

If you need fast cash, it's hard to beat offering a service. Your other option -- if you can spend some money -- is to look for paid traffic arbitrage opportunities. In another thread someone was talking about making money by promoting music offers with dirt-cheap Adf.ly traffic buys, for example.

Apparently you are a copy writing super star.

Anyone who is a copy writing superstar can make great money from writing copy for other people.

Copy writing superstars are very rarely short of work or money.

Might want to start on working on the copy on your own squeeze page.

Sell stuff while building a list. It's pretty simple, right?

Send them to a squeeze page. They opt-in.

Promote a relevant offer right away.

That's exactly what I am doing...send your new subscriber to a download page with your free offer at the bottom of the page and list some inexpensive WSO offer that is converting well with little or no refund at the top. It will soon add up. Also, consider promoting WSOs as many people buy those and there are hundreds to choose from. Kristie from Georgia

Willie is right. The only thing he left out is that once you have an offer that you're giving away 100% commissions on, now you have to go find your affiliates and partners and that process, like anything else, requires playing the numbers game.

As they say, "Build it and they will come" is no longer true. Well the same thing is true for attracting people to promote you. They're not going to find you on their own time, generally.

People who would be valuable to you are busy and have a ton of things going on, so you still have to cut through the clutter. It is a stumbling block we all deal with when we finally do get a good product up.

Pretty much everything worthwhile will take some time and effort. Suggestions about Fiverr, Odesk and the likes will probably get you some revenue in the near future if you are willing to pursue it and work at it. Try to take your time and learn as much as you can, and eventually results should come, starting slowly.

Building a email list takes time and visitors. You will also need a "call to action" by design that will cause the visitor to subscribe.

You might offer a free ebook that requires them to subscribe to get a download link be sent to them (auto responder)

The hardest and most expensive part is you need visitors. Buying cheap advertising usually does not get quality traffic. Do a google keyword search and solicit advertising on the sites returned on the search. Don't mess with PPC or network ads.

Offer copywriting services... since you promote a copywriting book. Offer them on fiverr. Shouldn't be too hard to sell yourself and your services. You should also consider "half .com" and Ebay.

Go to the Copywriting Forum. You might find help in this section since you are a copywriter.

It’s a good idea to create a blog about your topic and start showing to the public that you are a real expert. This way you will build your list faster and you can sell related products from your blog.

Everything takes time and a lot of work. Don't look for a magical method to make fast money because it doesn’t exist.

You will face a fierce competition everywhere, either you will try to sell your services or your/affiliate products.

Get a part time job or do gigs on fiverr. Also bubblews.com is a nice site for making a small side income just from posting blogs.

I agree with willie, spend the time building funnels and having good converting products.....then comes the traffic.

Do not just plug stuff over and over, make sure you are adding value to your list. When we do this, the next time we do plug stuff or do the hard sale, we get a flurry of sales. Relationships rule, just like in real life. Do you go to your friends and sell them stuff...... or tell a girl you must go out on a date.....no you smooth things over with her first, and then you lead to asking her out.

Build repore and they will come. STop asking how to make chit loads of $$ and ask how you can create massive value first. Doing this will help you in the short term, but especially in the long term as well.

While your building your list offer quality content and a good product along with that might help them follow through the information you just gave them.
