How can I write articles quickly?

Is there a Wordpress plugin that makes writing articles faster and easier? Somebody surely has invented something that helps writers churn out articles more quickly. All I can find are tips on how to write articles more quickly but no actual plugin or software that contains a template or anything to speed up the process.

Thanks for any info. I might just be dreaming that something like this exists. Thought I would ask.

It is not quite what you are asking for, but I have found that paying someone to inexpensively write an article based on a basic synopsis and then re-writing it makes it much easier for me to write a quality article. I can have a 500 word article written for $7.50 (yes, there are cheaper sources, but she will write exactly what I want) and then I re-write it typically adding another 50 to 100 words. Much, much easier to edit and improve an article than to start from scratch, at least for me.

You can use speech recognition software (speech to text software). Dragon is the most known but you have some softwares for free (speech to text software for windows, for example).

I would not allow some else to write your articles. And I will give you my reasons. An article writer has a different personality than you. Don't get my wrong sometimes I use writers because I have a SEO web site and don't care about the words or tone they use.(because they are writing for the search engines)

So, I weave a few keywords in the article for the sole purpose of get a high ranking in the search engines. But keep in mind that Google could direct a mathematician to change the algorithm at any time. Thus your ranking could drop.

Here is another example: Some guy or gal could figure out the algorithm and start bragging about it and the people at Google get wind of it and make the change.

However, if the web site or blog is your pet then you want the voice to be consistent. What I mean is this. If you are writing your own blog post and email campaign should be in the same voice.

Just like in the offline world sometimes you lose your voice, tone could fluctuate, the same thing can happen in print

By not caring about their quality, and by imagining that the number of articles you produce can somehow compensate for that.

    Whatever the context, it can't.

I'm always trying to write them more slowly, to be honest.

It’s not a good idea to write articles based on an automated process. If you are not a good writer, you should outsource this part instead of posting low quality articles. You may find help at the Warriors for Hire section, or at Fiverr.

If you have no money, you have to study article writing for a while instead of looking for magical plugins.

Thanks for your advice but I am not looking for a "magical plugin" as you call it. I am actually a very good writer (always have been) and routinely crank out 1,500+ word articles. I was simply wondering if anyone has invented a quicker way to write. There seems to be a plugin for everything else under the sun, so why not writing?

You can follow article templates and use various techniques to write faster if you will organize your work.

    Hello,

I agree with most replies here. Concentrate on quality and not quantity. Quality always comes first for anything you do. Whether it will be writing articles, SEO or marketing your newest post.

The "I need to write at least 1 article per day to be a successful blogger" is a myth. The best thing you can do is make a schedule and stick to it. For example, my schedule goes something like this.

    - Write 3 quality articles per week (more if I am inspired)
    - Saturday and Sunday are rest days (good for exploring what has been going on)

The point is that you setup goals in advance and plan your week. This will also help you
reduce stress and will bring you satisfaction once you know that you have achieved your goals for the week.

Thanks for replying. I have a less aggressive schedule of two articles a week. I have a small child who consumes a lot of my time so it's easy to get distracted. I just want to be super productive even when writer's block hits. Ironic you mention goals. I bought a planner the other day and I am going to start writing out my daily goals in the hopes that it keeps me on target.

What has helped me in the past years is voice recognition software - Dragon naturally Speaking is the one I use. Someone else mentioned voice recognition also. Doesn't matter how fast you can type, you can speak and think faster. The articles are original and if you work with two computers or two screens you can run DNS on one and do the research on the other, making it even faster.

Takes a bit of time to get used to dictating the punctuation, but it is so worth it. I had the advantage of using dictation for years as an NP before leaving medicine, so learning curve was shorter - but I've talked to others who took the time and found that it not only increased their productivity but also saved their fingers at the keyboard.

If you don't want to hire someone to write your articles for you, you can always consider PLR articles. Sure some of them can be vague, but if you do a little editing, you can have a high quality article. Editing a pre-writen article will be faster than starting from scratch.

Do what I do-write every single day and continue to ramp up your output. I started at 2000 words a day and now can reach up to 15000 words a day. Your quality needs to ramp up with your quantity as well.

This is what I am hoping. The more I write, the better I get. My problem is I sit there and nitpick as if I am writing the dissertation for my doctorate.

Here's a secret. You write better if you sit down and spend time OUTLINING what you're going to write. If you start with a good outline, the article pretty much writes itself...quickly. Moreover, you can BOOST THE QUALITY of your article by fine tuning the subsections of the materials you wrote since you're using a modular approach.

It's all about gaining momentum. The more you ACT, the BETTER you get. Don't give yourself an excuse to slack off by 'editing' yourself and nitpicking. Write all your batches first, THEN edit. If you keep going back while you're writing, you're not going to get anything done. Believe me, I know. I've been there. The good news is that you actually write more polished stuff the first time around when you EDIT after you finish the whole batch. The EDITING part is like additional education. You notice a pattern in the errors or whatever shortcomings your writing has and you keep these in mind when you're writing.

Have you tried any of those speed learning courses/books or some other techniques for disciplining your thinking patterns?

I found that I usually write a lot faster and better after trying some of those although i haven't found a single technique that will work all the time. Usually, though, it really helps if your mind is calm, fresh and focused. It can make the difference between 700 and 1500 words/hour.

There is no magic bullet plugin that will help you write more content in less time.

There are however strategies that the pros put to work that could work miracles for you.

In order to speed my own writing, I only need three things:

    1. I must know my topic well;
    2. I must know the angle that I am going to take with my story;
    3. I must draw a very basic outline of what I want to communicate to my reader.

With these three steps in action, I can accelerate my writing speed by as much as 3- to 4-times.

If you're wanting to write articles quickly, I would guess you are fulfilling bulk quantity content with narrow profit margins. In this case, volume throughput is your friend. This minimal quality for minimal price (economy market) exists as opposed to other market tiers of medium quality for medium price (value market), or premium quality for high price (exclusive market).

All of these tiers fulfill equally valid market demands. It's only when people confuse their markets that they get into value struggles. "My tier can beat up your tier!" A truly pro writer can excel at every tier for any client. Real writers and real clients don't expect nor demand one tier's result for another's cost. You get what you pay for. Statistics will bite you in the ass.

    To write faster:

    1. Cut research. Get prompts, not fodder.
    2. Cut learning. Trust & express your instincts.
    3. Cut errors. Time is on your side. It gets easier to get it right the first time.
    4. Cut phrasing. Talk simple.

    Your new secret formula:
    Idea bullets → Talk

Instead of "synonym spinning," I call it "concept spinning." Instead of word for word, you scan a paragraph and then relate its topic in your own words.

Move paragraph by paragraph. (Sentence by sentence takes too long). See? Get in the habit of taking three conversational sentences to explain or support one bullet concept. Tell readers a fact and then put it into a context for them.

    For example:

Bullet concept: (This is a fact you see in your research).
"Each time you upload a photo to Instagram, you’ll have the option to share to each of the social networks you’ve enabled, or to none."

    You write:
Instagram allows you to express yourself photographically. Some people like to use it to store their own photos, while others love to share their photos with family, friends or even organizations. Fortunately, Instagram offers you a choice to share or keep your photos private. When you upload your photo, the interface will prompt you to share your photo with your favorite social networks or none at all.

I wrote this paragraph in one breath (figuratively speaking). By the way, I know sweet f all about Instagram. Never even visited the website. You want an expert critique? No problem - pay for it.

This is just stuff you can intuit and come up with off the top of your head. What you want to do is spend less time locating and organizing these bullet concepts. You only need a surprising few to create a whole article. In other words - squeeze more talk from each idea bullet.

The reason this works is because people don't want a list of facts. They want conversation and connection. It never hurts to explain why you said what you said so that people can absorb the idea.

Communicate slowly and clearly. Think and type fast. Simplify but don't stupefy.

Writing is not about information. It is about knowledge. Trying on another's mind for size.

    Good luck!

I honestly cannot wrap my head around what you are saying. Are you saying that:

You believe that there must be a product out there that helps writers produce articles more quickly.

What I don't understand is: what kind of product is this?

What do you expect it to do? What's it supposed to do for you? How does it do it? And I suppose you expect this product to be less than $19.95 with a 30 day guarantee?

Try as I might, my imagination fails me. Is this product or software supposed to prompt you like you were conversing with it like some real person?

The Product: Why don't you write now?

You: I don't know what to write about.

The Product: You can write about this. How to Apply for a Loan.

You: I don't know anything about loans.

The Product: That's easy. There are plenty of links on Google. Look, I searched some for you here.

You: Oh, okay. Am I supposed to read all of these?

The Product: If you'd like. But I made a summaries for you here. View the other tab, please.

The Product: Or you can write about web hosting, if you'd like. Would you like to see some reviews?

    Something like this??

You know, I can write some programming code. Can you please tell me what do you expect this product to do because I sure as hell would love to come up with such a product. And if I don't know enough programming to create it myself, why I'll hire other better programmers to do it for me.

Imagine who in the world wouldn't come rushing to me to buy such a product that if I can create can make each and every writer out there write stuff faster.

For sure, I'd be freaking rich! I'm feeling butterflies in my belly just thinking about it.

So please, tell me. Quick. What is this product supposed to do? Should it have big buttons or small?

How can a wordpress plugin write articles?

I myself write (most) articles in Word. When I do web-content I actually prefer to use the wordpress editor since writing "on site" can gives me a better idea about how the article is presented later (eg. reviews etc.). The writing itself is done by me, so I have no idea how a wordpress plugin should help there?

WHAT you can do is look into voice recognition software like Dragon Naturally Speaking, this type of software has gone a long way now and it can help people writing faster.

(chuckle... ) I haven't heard of any plugins that make writing articles fast and easy. I like the way you think though. There isn't any way to get around the writing process. Spun articles must be rewritten to reach acceptable quality, so you may as well learn to write well.

  • I have tried hiring VAs that do all the web search for me. That has reduced the time I took for writing a lot. A good writer should not waste time on searching the contents. Try to have an intelligent Virtual assistant that would reduce the time it takes for writing. Wrong VAs is actually a more painful job to handle than the writings itself.

    Title (exploit this)

    Description (META description)

    Keywords (META keywords)

    Body (the article itself)
Introduction (what the article is about)

    Explanation (why/what/how)

    Paragraph 1 (some meat)

    Paragraph 2 (some more meat)

    Paragraph 3 (even more meat)

    Summary (tie it all up)

    Call to action (profit)

Knowing your topic well will go a long way with helping you produce content quickly. Therefore, I recommend researching around finding offline and online content (books, magazines, blogs, etc.) in the niche you're in, take notes, come up with article ideas, outlines, titles, etc.

Also, as everyone has said, definitely focus more on quality over speed. One premium quality article will dominate 100 lesser quality articles any day.

      Hi

Just thought I would add my two cents, I write articles at a decent speed, but quality is so much more important.

They say content is king, Quality is!

Focus on quality first before writing them quickly. There is software that can help you type quicker such as voice to text software. If your computer has an input sound mic then you can speak into it and the software will translate what you say to text. This will only make words appear on a screen faster, quality takes time and thought.

Learning some speed reading techniques can also help you write faster. It can cut down on research time without compromising the quality of your articles.

I use PLR for some sites (e.g. my mac site) for epic content. on my other site, livingformondays, i write everything from scratch because I enjoy it
PLR is great for inspiration. I re-write 98% of the article but for me it is much easier to write when i have a kind of "template" so that works well and is effective, I can write up to 5 articles a day this way

I think, writing article is not a work to do quickly or instantly, anyways, if a person have a good writing skills and vocabulary, then it can be possible to generate quickly.

I don't know of a WP plugin that can write "quality" articles for you. If you use any plugin with PLR, or if they pull from EZA or other directories, it's probably not going to help you in regard to ranking. You need unique content.

So the closest you can come are products like WP Robot and WP Mage that have quite a few options for creating unique posts, but the content is merely rearranged.

Article Builder is another option. Not a WP plugin, but is a great way to backlink your backlinks. So if you do create unique content, that's a great way to improve your ranking for these articles in some cases.

My recommendation is, as someone else mentioned, get a speech recognition software program with a USB digital microphone to write articles quickly. You'll just need to know how to write them fast which usually comes with a lot of practice.

I have never heard of a wordpress plugin to help you write faster.

But what you could do and what i do is just embed YouTube videos and then write a couple of paragraphs about the video.

Or you can try Article Builder. Just Google it.

Either write it yourself (speech recognition really helps) or hire someone. Trust me, giving GREAT value through quality is the absolute only way to keep readers engaged, filler content will give you filler money in the end ($0).

Have someone with a passion about these things to write for you.

With is the purpose of the endeavor?
