This is one of the coolest vBulletin features:

    • That's a brilliant feature. Thanks for pointing it out, John.

  • That point hadn't escaped my notice

I plan to add a few pages to my WF blog.. the link juice alone will be worth it!

    • Very Nice!

      Al sorts of social/blog/picture/content goodies.

More of a home or base instead of a forum to visit

    • I like the blog idea. I was just playing around with it. Hopefully it stays around.

I had thought about adding that feature to my forum too, so I guess I will see how it goes here first!

So far so good though. It's kinda fun looking around the new place. It's like looking for hidden treasure. I just need a pirate smiley.

  • Crikey John, a man just got here! Gimme time mate ... lol ...

I`ve not yet checked it out here but I did create a blog
over at Turbo Forum last week that I imagine is pretty
similar as it uses vbulletin also ... yup, it`s gonna be
a magnet for search engines here for sure! Yeehaa

    • That is cool. I hadn't even noticed that feature. This new forum has a ton of great stuff to it.
  • Thanks for pointing out this cool new benefit John!

I like how it is linked to the left under our avatars.

    Abused? How?

No one is forced to view it so there is no "push" technology to be abused that I can see... of course blogs on third party service sites like this one cannot expect free speech.

Allen just added this sticky on blog abuse:

    • I'll certainly get into a WF blog when I get chance..

Will be cool to have it here.. and it appears below your name with amount of posts when you put up a new blog post

      Jay
    • Abused as Allen stated: I was agreeing. This is a forum full of marketers. I am pretty sure if there is a way to abuse something, this is the place that it'll happen.

I just think if we can't put affiliate links in posts or our sig files, blogs would have the same type of guidelines.

Either way, I like having a blog here. If the word "abuse" is too strong, replace it with "problem".
