How to get other bloggers to give away your free ebook?

I have created a good looking ebook with great content. There are no product promotions or affiliate links in it, but there is some promotion of my site.

I was wondering what the best approach is to get other bloggers to give away my ebook for free.
- Can I just ask them to give it to their subscribers or as a bonus to their buyers?
- Do I have to do something in return (other then giving the free ebook)? I have no list of my own yet in this niche.

Any tips, advice or personal experiences you may have are most welcome!

Thank you!

You can share it through the jv giveaways (google it) as contributor.

Add their links inside your ebook. Also, strike a deal where they promote you in links inside posts. You can also write custom posts for them. Win Win situation. Just make sure the content you produce is QUALITY. Many people think 'quality' is subjective. It isn't.

If you are asserting that quality is objective, then we need to get together and define this algorithmically because we can sell that code to Google for a few million bucks.

Just kidding, I'd sell it to Microsoft because then Bing would win the search engine wars.

That's another good idea. The more freebies you give to partners the higher the chance they will see your offer as a WIN WIN situation. This is crucial if you are just starting.

Well if its a freeby, hit writeaway up. 6,000 is a good number to market to for a freeby.
I would say solo ads for a freeby.
I would also say exchange, do you have a list do a swap.
Or if you want go to fiverr and pay one of those guys to send it out, it will be spam but you should get some clicks on it.

You have to offer something that the bloggers may want or need. Maybe a list of links in the ebook to each site? Ads with their products in it? They have to want something. Just ask and see what type of response you get.

Offer them some kind of promotion, probably via your website, so they'll in turn promote E-book on their site.

Or, you could offer them a MRR rights for your book, so they can give sell giveaway rights or resale rights to their readers. This idea would work better for the IM niche.

    What's in it for them?

Unless you know them personally, you'll have a REALLY hard time finding people to just promote it for free with nothing in exchange.

    But..

If there's some type of benefit to them, you can probably find a few people to promote it for you.

What can you provide people who promote your free ebook?

Most bloggers are quite selective. It will be hard to find someone who may believe that your free ebook will be beneficial to their list because it will add value.

You may have the chances to have your free ebook accepted by a few bloggers if your ebook is really good and gives practical lessons to its readers. Your free ebook won't be accepted if it is mainly promotional.

Once I read in a thread that a Warrior was successfully getting new subscribers because he was offering to various website owners an ebook he used to sell in the past at Clickbank. This means that the ebook had great content since he was selling it. By giving away this ebook he managed to convince many website owners to send his ebook for free to their list and become his subscribers.

If you free ebook can be as substantial as a paid one, you can think about having people interested on promoting it. Otherwise, don't waste your time trying this method.
