Where Did My Thread Go?

I started a couple of hours ago, asking a question related to keywords on a blog post. I received some very helpful answers. But now, logging in later, it's dissappeared? OK? I checked my profile stats, and it's like it never existed...What should i do?

  • This forum is heavily moderated. That's why WF is a successful forum. There are strict quality guidelines that are aimed at making sure the site doesn't get riddled with spam or questionable content. Sometimes people get overzealous but that's the price we all have to pay for a fairly clean forum.

  • Did you just ask a question or did you post a link to your website in it too? People could have thought you were just trying to drive traffic to the post you were asking about...

    • No, i asked a pretty general question about seo and blog posts, and whether or not people do keyowrd research on the their articles before posting them. It got about 7 or 8 useful replies, that's the only thing that bother me.
  • Did you look under the couch cushions. I lose a lot there.

  • You should do nothing. Sometimes threads get deleted. You should definitely NOT ask about it (ahem), complain, or post the same thread again.

But by the same token, don't be paranoid about starting new threads on other things. Everything is fine. If there was a problem, trust me, somebody would say something to you.

  • Lol, not the dreaded "where did my thread go" thread

I remember seeing that thread, I think you had it in the wrong section, so that may be why it got deleted. Mods are super busy so they couldn't possibly move every thread that has been posted in the wrong section

    • Its really painful and unfortunate. I dont know the reason even dont know who can give u the solution. Just to say, have patience and look forward. U must not find the reason why u struck by someone on the way. Pls look forward and move ahead on your way to success.

Time is important ! why u waste time by searching the reason! If u find the reason of losing thread what u will get return? nothing.

U can ask administrator that u dont find your thread, is it recoverable or not?
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • It should have been posted in the SEO forum.

Threads disappear when you post them in the wrong section. It sounds like yours should have been in SEO forum rather than the main discussion forum.

Other reasons include the post being spam/self promo or rude, an article rather than a discussion, an ongoing thread that never ends, etc.
  • you might violated the forum rules or maybe added links on you thread.
  • I had the same problem today: some posts disappeared.

Simply try to look into other sections. You'll probably find your posts

( by the way moderators, you are totally fast - I never saw any forum having such efficient moderators. Congratulations )

Learn that threads relating to SEO/keywords go here: Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum (I don't mean it rudely, but some people did tell you this - again - only yesterday, yet you continue to ignore it! ).
