Best Affiliate software for Website....??

I need some help/opinions on what the best affiliate software programs that are out there for Dating/Matchmaking websites??

    I am just starting to work with a company that is developing niche dating and matchmaking websites.
    We are trying to put the finishing details into the first couple sites and need to add affiliate software to the websites.

    Just need some opinions/advice on some of these programs I can research and decide what will fit best for the sites we have developed.

    For most companies, it's best to outsource things that aren't your core competency. Will you be in the business of running and growing an effective dating site (i.e. is your focus actually on getting people dates), or is it in running an affiliate program (i.e. your focus is on earning revenue, and the prospect of a date is just the bait)? If it's the former, then outsourcing the tracking and payouts to a network makes the most business sense. If it's the latter, you might want to license or develop something you can run in-house for the most control.

    Google "affiliate network" for lots of options. Commission Junction, Linkshare, Pepperjam, ShareASale, AvantLink, RevenueWire, AffiliateWindow, TradeDoubler are some names to check out.

    Is now defunct.

    I think you want a self-hosted solution (correct me if I'm wrong), I suggest idev. You can also use WP affiliate plugins.

      I was telling him to use Google to search the words "affiliate network", not use Google Affiliate Network. The sentence doesn't make sense if you read it any other way. Didn't you know google is a verb?

    I will suggest to try Euraff. It is not popular as idev but it has some edges. You will have direct and quick linking which may be too much useful for a dating site. Excellent reports. There are a lot of more advanced features.

    It tracks all sales and leads. It tracks those are not sent by affiliates and via other sources. You can know source of every sale/lead. What sale/lead is from what affiliate, PPC, banner ad, search engines or other websites etc.

    I think you should try both and then only you will be able to take better decision.
