How To Move Selected Content From An Old Website To Another

I would like to move a number of selected articles from an old website to a new website.

Can you let me know what is the best practice?

Should I first delete the articles from the old website, wait for a few days and then publish them on the new site?

Please advice.

    Just do it. if your asking how to fool google you won't, I may have misread you though and you just want to know how. I would actually use a 301 redirect though, that way you keep your seo links and your rank.

    I will say some will tell you redirects arent good in googles eyes and they can be bad but one is not going to hurt you, if google sees you have 20 mispelled (sic) domain names redirecting then they would probably penalize you. Google knows though we change domains so one 301 redirect is not going to hurt you much at all.

    I totally misread your question and see that now. You just want to move them and don't want google to penalize you for duplicate content. Its not duplicate though if it belongs to you. I would delete them first re index your site with google then move them and re index that site with google.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn't think you meant copy and past like the other guy. lol. Funny how we both misread.
