A lot will depend on the niche the ebook pertains to. Without that information all you can expect is generic advice.

If all I had was an ebook then it probably wouldn't leave much room for advertising. I would first concentrate on getting a full funnel built so you make more money per visitor and can then afford to advertise in more places. I would then go and look for the websites where my target market are already hanging and then dangle my banana right infront of them.

    Greetings!

I'm currently in the process of developing my own ebook. I'm not very experienced with these kinds of sales- yet... but I will tell you that the content of your book will really determine where to sell it. I'm writing a book based on secondary education in English and I plan to market it to teachers. Consider the niche of your book, and then find your market.

    Have a good day.

Thanks for all the replies even though i wasn't specific.

It's about affiliate marketing. I know I know there are a lot of these types out there. I also wanted to know what site works where people could buy it from. like someone pays for it and then is automatically emailed the book or a link to get the book. I've found some but they seem to cost a lot for just one book, so I think what I found is something way more advanced then I need. (Unless it really does cost 12.99 a month to be able to automatically deliver an ebook.)

Get a free membership at JVzoo.com and add it as a product. Setup is simple, and they have instructional videos to walk you through all the processes.

Your product can then easily be sold through a blog, website, or even here on the Warrior Forum. It's as easy as inserting a Buy Now image with a link (The code is made for you! So it's cut/paste)

I would find forums/groups online that relate to the niche of your ebook. I would socialize with those people without necessarily introducing your ebook to anyone. You can do it in a subtle manner (signature link). Once you've established yourself, you can begin to introduce it to others. Its a more time consuming approach, but it will pay off

I think of the best study case on how to market our ebook is to look at "cash in a flash" by robert allen and mark v hansen.

they use several ways to promote their ebook and they've done it very well till the high ticket item: live seminar/ bootcamp. They really do good information business. =)

I think about the promotion, they also did some buzzes/ viral promotion, affiliate program, and launches...
I didn't get the ebook but the book from local bookstore.
    They're cool.

    PS:
They told me in the book, there's a website called: www youpublish com , you can launch and quickly sell your ebook there. Hope it helps

There are many different ways to promote an ebook. I think it will be dependent on what is your objective. For me personally, I will simply set up a simple squeeze page to collect the leads first while creating the ebook. In this way, there is a ready source of visitors that can view the offer once the ebook is created.

    Here is a few tips:

    1. Promote your ebook on related forums through WSO if they have one.

    2. Get affiliates to promote your ebook for a commission.

    3. Get a squeeze page and buy solo ads, advertise it on adword, FB and any other good PPC.

Are you building a list to promote to or are you just relying on affiliates? I would build a list. Have you considered kindle?

depends on the genre . fiction would be kindle or istore.
non fiction - if its an internet marketing book, no place better than warrior forum..
if its any other niche id reccomend starting your own website and seo-ing it or buying ad space on related top notch websites...

Clickbank or Payloadz are the two that I hear good things about often, generally speaking. There is also amazon of course and any site specific to the book's topic.
