I have a page having 11K fans. Most of them are active members.
I agree that 11K is not a big number, but is there any way to monetize the page?
I don't want to disturb my fans.

It would be hard to offer any help without knowing what niche/topic your page is about. If you give us some more info, we can help out!

      Thanks for your help!
My page is not based on a single niche.
This is related to all newest, coolest, strange tech product, new home design, engineering, babies, etc.

So it's kind of a page full of all sorts of cool, new things? Would that be a good description?

If so, I would recommend you start a blog and fill it with articles related to the posts you make on your FB page. You can monetize the blog through adsense, or even put up affiliate links to cool Amazon products. Down the road, once your blog becomes popular, you can offer to sell advertising space.

        Hope this helps!

    I wish I had 11k fans haha

Back to the point, perhaps gaining a little insight on what your fans do while they're on your site could help. The way your traffic engages with your content will determine what they're looking for or what they need. Answer these questions and maybe you could pitch a related product to them? If it's good, that is.

I can't really see your site. If you have a link in your sig or something, I apologize. Sometimes my page fails to show sigs... I'm not really sure why.

I assume Google adsense is enabled on your site? Perhaps giving a donate option? Marketing a product usually requires you know the needs of your market. If people come to your site for news, they're not really trying to solve a problem they're having, thus making it difficult to sell them a solution. I'm brainstorming, though... lol

I disagree with you, 11k fans is very high and can generate you good income monthly if you promote right except if your fans are made up of bots.

Do you know what real 11k fans means?

Each time you make an update, your post get seen by your 11k fans friends.

Assuming each of your fans have 50 friends, 11000 fans x 50 friends = 550,000 is likely to view your post/ads.

More over, i see a lot of people having 100 to 5, 000 friends, you are definitely going to get beyond 1m views.

It will only work if it's real.

You can get to know if you have strong reputation with your followers by making a funny comment and see how fast people like or comment on it, just post something weird or great.

Is it sad that "fart joke" was the first thing that came to my mind?

Technically, on average only 15% of those 11,000 fans will see that post, because of Facebook's dumb post view limitations. Unless of course the post goes viral, then more people will see it.

FB has a section that allows you to boost a post starting from $5 and above. You will also see the estimated number of people that will view it for each cost.
