Need Feedback On A New Youtube Video ...

I am using youtube videos by 1st giving great content but also pluging in what I do upfront from the beginning on the 1st video and also all others in the video series there are 12

1) Does it sound too self serving or would you over look the 1st slide that says what I do our service to home owners

2) would you give me a like for providing good content or you would u get turned off because all of my videos start the same say I first say in the first slide in video a little about we do for home sellers then move on too good information on how to sell house fast

3) can I place the video link here for your review without getting in trouble with warrior forum I do not want to get into trouble I will not put link here till I get permission or the ok

If your information is good enough then people will naturally want to know more about you. If you try and stick your service in front of someone who doesn't know you from a bar of soap then no, it probably won't work very well.

I would concentrate more on the giving of free and quality information. When your focus is on that the rest will follow. People will want to know more about you and what you can do for them. Nothing wrong with having a link at the bottom of all your videos though.

    People hate being sold to.

I'd hold off on the promotion til the end and have a call to action to get more info.

Put another call to action in your description.

Nothing wrong with explaining who you are and your credentials upfront, but I wouldn't push too hard looking for buyers upfront.

I think telling them a little about you is a good thing as long as you can keep it short and sweet.

If you can reduce the 'about me' part to a sentence or two and/or make it a part of your branding (5 seconds or less) at the beginning of the video you might be able to creatively slip it in without it seeming like a spiel about you.

I would leave the promotional part to the end of the video. Great content first, then call to action.

What you could do in addition is place a small banner (like it's often used on TV) at the bottom and put your website link + Tel number in it. That way these important facts are always visible.

In your first video you have skipped Strategy #4. To be consistent tell something about it or remove it, otherwise you will confuse people.

I would also skip the part asking for sharing and go straight to your call to action.

In the end it all comes down to test things the right way, e.g. when do people turn off the video/watch it till the end. But to do this you need at least 100-200 viewers to tell and split test with another version. Go to You Tube Analytics for more info.

I hope this helps. Keep it up!

        hi matrixler..

Thanks for reviewing and spotting a mistake, I will take your advice and leave it to the end, I knew something was wrong, it should be content and not so much self promotion from the beginning of the video, bad mistake but now I know I do not want to do that any more, I will say those things at end of video..

I got a lot of editing to do LOL

Hahaha, yes, but once it's done and you have figured out the best version you can use it over and over again. Great to hear that it helps you!
