A question about Facebook and affiliate links

Hi everyone,

I understand Facebook doesn't like people to post affiliate links on their personal or business pages... Isn't it

Now, my question is this: What if I embed those products that I want to promote (with their affiliate links) into my own website, and post a link from Facebook to the relevant page on my website, where they can be found... Is this OK ?
(For example: I create an Amazon a-store and embed it into my website, and than post a link on the timeline of my FB page, directing viewers to this page, where what they will see is actually my Amazon a-store) ?

Strange enough Big companies like Amazon and Zazzle have buttons that allow affiliates to share product pages on FB and make money... Don't they know it is against FB's policy, or is there something I'm missing

Many thanks, Roni

You're allowed to post affiliate links on YOUR Pages and not other people's. I've never had a problem posting affiliate links on Facebook and you won't either.
