Never!! My problem Was that I didn't had too much money to invest randomly. I always had specific target resources to put money into and said " no thanks" to all those who came in the way.

2 weeks. I still got scammed a few times in the beginning though. And I still buy products from time to time that aren't what they claim to be. Now days I refund those, no hard feelings.

With experience comes wisdom.

Most people struggle online until they figure out how to stick to one strategy. When we first start out, we're always looking for the next best thing rather than staying focused on the task at hand...

When we're ALWAYS learning, we're NEVER earning...

It took me about 6 months to figure that out, once I did, I've been fine...

It took me about 6 months to figure that out, once I did, I've been fine...

This was exactly what happened to me at the beginning (and with many others newstarters).... Finally I learnt that Stick with only one thing at a time and start with simple steps and low competetion things RTHER than pretending to be a GURU at very first day.
Instead of investing Blindly, learn and do it yourself.

About 1 month.

Luckily I have never been one to throw money around foolishly. So I actually wound up here at warrior forums first. I read hundreds of reviews, and testimonials, on how people got started and learned the basics of internet marketing.

Eventually I joined a membership site that was voted the number 1 for the past three years, and I learned very quickly the right and wrong ways to make money online.

So my advice to anyone just starting out... DO NOT BUY software's, eBook, or programs that will tell you, that you can make tons of money, and make it very fast.

Instead invest that money in a membership site, or coaching, as this will speed up your learning curve drastically, and get you closer to earning money online.

Hi Venice,

welcome to the forum

If you go to the top right on the navigation bar you'll find the search box: make this your best friend in here. There has been plenty of threads on affiliate marketing already so you may want to checked those out.

As for the affiliate programs they'll may give you the tools to help you promote the products but it is really up to you to know how to bring in the potential customers "through the door".

So you may have a truly good product but if you don't know how to cut out the competition(other promoters for the same product) and bring in a lot of traffic then you are gonna have a problem there.

I happened to me too. I thought it was a good idea to start out with affiliate marketing until i hit a brick wall after another.

If you really want to succeed at the affiliate game you must have big lists of subscribers and customers already that know you,like you and trust you already. At that point only you can send out a promotional email and look at the sale conversion rolling in.

The best affiliate marketers( product promoters ) are those people who can influence large groups of people in specific markets, so if you are serious at this build your audience first and then promote stuff to them.

I first got into Internet Marketing back in October 2008.

I was scammed only once and that was the first product I bought for $2995.

Didn't make my first cent online until April 2010.

I think made about $200+ on the first day I made any money online.

I made it by direct linking from PPC ads with Yahoo Search to ClickBank products. (this was back in the day when direct linking was alive and well)

The CB products were The Diet Solution Program, Some background checker software and another product which I won't name as I'm still promoting it to this day.

I still remember the feeling of logging into my ClickBank account expecting to see $0 made and then seeing the account showing $294 (or whatever it was).

Best feeling in the world!!

Very quick advice is BE AWAY from MLM type affiliates and Quick Rich Schemes

I spend a few thousands dollars too before I realized the real facts about the internet business. Haha I still can remember I always falls for those shiny object products or the magic system.

Things only start to become better for me when I start to realized that I am responsible for my own success and I need to take consistent massive actions.

The thing is that one does need a very thorough research before jumping into coaching programs, spending money on software's, pdfs or anything else... without research it is like you are throwing you hard earned money in the river

You never "figure this out". IM is about constant learning. I have a degree in Web Design & Development and have been doing this for almost a decade and I still learn new things every single day. There isn't a moment when you can say "I figured it out!!"
