protecting a potential brand

Hey,

I recently registered essentialwidgets.com

Should I also grab widgetessential.com and widgetessentials.com (won't be building those as seperate sites, either park or redirect to my main site..)

I don't think I will bother with any .net or .org of the original or variations, just mostly the above two. Thanks!

Yes, it is worth registering them too, so you can you can redirect them domains to your main site. (before somebody else registers them)

They are cool domain names too

I wouldn't bother with widgetessentials but I would get the .net, .org and .info of the original domain

widget and essentials are too general to be called brand or comfortable trademarked in the future.
But hey, why posting it here? don't you think it might be registered before you finish getting all the information you need to make decision? or is this forum hiding from the public?

It might be worth getting it registered with ipo.gov incase you actually plan to grow your business and of course you can have the TLDs registered and redirected to your main domain. You never know what might've the future but always safe than sorry.

        Best wishes,
