Warriors,

Do you know of any easy way to take a video file and input it into a photoshop image? I am trying to build a WSO and would like to include a video but cannot seem to figure it with YouTube videos and Google.

Thanks.
Justin

You can't put video inside a Photoshop document. That is not remotely what the program is for. At least, not in any of the versions I have ever used.

You can create a graphical skin that goes around where you would place the video in your WSO post, but you can't put a video file inside a photoshop document.

That's new to me, I love using photoshop but I don't think there is a way to do that which you are asking.
I would know about it by now.

Do you want to take some photos from the video, and input them in a report/ebook as screenshots, as like instructional steps showing videos ?

No I think he wants to actually out a video in the image.
I think I know what he means.

For example you have a picture of a laptop, but. You have a gif image inside the screen of the laptop.
          Gif= animated photo files.

Correct me if I'm wrong OP

Nah I was looking to grab my YouTube video and put it in my sales page for my WSO & since the forum needs a picture image vs a webpage I didn't know how to do this ...

Can I just build it all on my domain name and do an "iframe" in the post when I'm ready so that it is exactly what I want?

If you are going to be using a Youtube video you can just embed the video. If you are doing a WSO on the forum you can just paste the Youtube url where you want the video to show up and the forum will automatically embed the video for you.

If you are using it on your site, then you would use Youtube's embed option to put it on your site.

You CAN import video into Photoshop but you will get a bad result when you export it as a gif. Much better to embed the video if you can.

Also, if you embed the video on your own site you can put a cool looking place holder to make everything look better unless you are just going to auto play the video. If you need the code for the place holder you can google for it or send me a pm and I'll give it you if you decide to go that route.

The WSO forum allows you to embed Youtube videos right inside your thread. Just grab the Youtube video link from the address bar of your browser and paste it into your WSO wherever you want the video to display.

Note: It will only show as a link/url until your WSO has been approved and paid for at which time that link will turn into an embedded video. This only works for Youtube videos though.

That is what I was thinking I was going to have to end up doing. I realize what people were doing was cropping the video into individual frame files and well that just seems way to much crap to do for a video lol.

So if I make a certain spot for my image page on the WSO how would I specify where the video would be on the page? ... or would I have to have

      VIDEO / Sales Page
      Then Sales page / Video
