Looking for another niche - here are my skills, where should I head?

Ok looking for ideas for a niche. Here are my skills, interests and hobbies...and some thoughts about them. Would love to hear any suggestions on a route to take my next little (hopefully bigger) project.

Mental Health Professional - good knowledge base but in all honesty I find the subject quite draining (already have a site, getting sales but passion is just not there within a web context.)
Gym Instructor - thoroughly enjoy the topic, but feel it may be too generic, and I am far from an expert in a specific area
New Media and Design Degree - enjoy the subject and the course covered a broad area but little depth, flash and actionscript, photoshop, building basic sites etc....but again i am far from expert in areas to teach, ie php, or even offer services as my skills are fairly limited in my opinion, well far from professional.
Play guitar - done this for around 20 years but again far from an expert, more of an enjoyment.

I think I do have some skills that may be marketable, or at least have areas of interest that I could work with....but honestly can't think of a direction to go with.

I would like to avoid mental health topics really as that is the only topic I have tried with good effort with. Made a site, SEO'd some low competition keywords and get some sales. I found this method pretty laborious if I am being honest and am hoping to find inspiration here for a different direction. Maybe a YouTube approach, or lead generation via article writing (not that I have ever done any other methods fully, although like many I have dabbled with bits)?

Really hoping for some suggestions here, very open to any thoughts!

Alan

Looks like you might have a shot at the weight loss exercise 'secrets' niche. Mix it with a little 'accountability' mentoring/partnering and you might have yourself a winner.

Yes that is a good niche, and one I would definitely be interested in, but the competition is strong would you say? Or should that not put me/anyone off?

Care to expand on your thoughts here?

Also, any thoughts on a starting point? Website? Promote others products? What form of marketing? By the way this isn't a grilling of your muchly appreciated response! Just for you or anyone else reading that might care to throw ideas too

You know what they say... find something your good at and get paid for it.

I say... find something you enjoy and get paid for it.

You said you enjoy playing the guitar, this seems like something you should focus on the most. When your doing something you enjoy, you tend to work harder and you don't loss motivation as easy.

You don't have to be a rock star to teach people how to play the guitar. If I were you I would start by giving free video lessons on Youtube. Walking people through the basics and if you get a good following I would create a membership site teaching people more advanced techniques. You've got 20 years experience, don't be afraid to use it.

There are alot of people out there making millions of dollars with a business that started as a hobby.
