    For targeted traffic I would recommend renting someone's email list or twitter posts. AdWords is good if you know what you are doing on it, otherwise it's just a time and money waster.

    Since your sig product is in the Make Money Online niche, I'd say solo ads. Just keep in mind, not all sellers are the same.. some are better and some are worse. Test your results and you can keep buying from the better ones long term.

    WSOs are another great way to get buyers on your list.

    Highly targetted traffic..? Of course the answer is search engine traffic.. If, for instance, you target people who wants to "make money online"so you must have website or blog that rank well for keyword "make money online" and anytime those people search in google by type the keyword and they open your url..They will find your website..And you get targetted traffic..

      I regard search engine traffic - in all of my niches - as about "the lowest of the low".

      That's about as poor as traffic can get, for "selling stuff". I tend to advise people not to put much time, effort and energy into trying to attract "organic SERP's" traffic, for two main reasons: first, it's very precarious and makes your business Google-dependent, and any business that's Google-dependent is no more than one algorithm-change away from a potential accident (or even a potential disaster), as so many Warriors have been finding out over the last year or two, some of them to their very great cost; secondly, for me, search engine traffic has been uniformly the worst-converting traffic out of everything I've ever tried in 8 entirely different niches over the whole of the last 4 years - search engine visitors to all my websites typically stay the least time, view the fewest pages, opt in the least often and actually buy anything by far the least often. I admit I do get tons of search engine traffic to all my main sites (just because of all the high rankings I've got, incidentally, from article syndication to relevant sites) but I'd certainly hate to have to make a living from that traffic! Google rankings, in short, are usually not really much of a "traffic-generating plan" at all: that traffic's very poor quality and often temporary, too. Just reading this forum regularly will convince anyone of that.

      In all of my own niches, my best, highly targeted and responsive traffic, by far - no comparison at all with the "next best"! - is article marketing traffic.

        Alexa is right (as usual) about Search Engine traffic having the lowest conversion rates. This is our own experience (we do e-commerce):

        Facebook: 5.21%
        YouTube: 3.48%
        All Other: 2.86%
        Google Organic: 0.97%

        Same thing with all the other important stats: highest bounce rate, lowest time on site, lowest number of pages viewed, lowest percentage of opt-ins, etc. Basically the worst all the way!

        Now, of course, the one big difference between organic traffic and all the other kinds is that it has the *potential* to scale up to kingdom come, so even a miserable 0.97% conversion rate can be big *if* the amount of traffic is high enough ... just my $0.02 ...

    There is no other good traffic quality than traffic that comes from search engines, create good content, this is the hard work that you need to do, then socialise your articles with Twitter, Facebook, Google +1 .
    Quality content mixed with SEO will save you money and drive better quality visitors than other ways.

    To get targeted traffic in my opinion the best ones are FB ads and PPV, my only problem with fb ads all ads are humanly reviewed which means inconsistent approvals. So if I had to start for ground up with a budget of $100 I would chose PPV, hands down. You can target websites that will fit your needs, wants and desires, plus you can really ramp up your traffic. But the best part is, you can advertise simple optin pages that would not be approved by Adwords n co.

    But it also important to make your offer desirable to increase their greed factor.

    Paid ads are the best for this. I use Facebook Ads and Adwords to get traffic, and it usually converts pretty well. It can be hard getting free targeted traffic, but Facebook, YouTube and forum marketing can get a lot of traffic that converts nicely. Oftentimes it takes a while to get traffic doing those methods, so if you are in a hurry then you should probably look into PPC advertising.

    The most targeted traffic is of course PPC traffic. As long as you get your list of negative keywords and know how to use it within your campaign

      Just like entrepreneurs asking "What's the best way to get clients?" you're asking the wrong question.

      It's natural to think there's ONE best way or want to know THE single best way to get new clients or targeted traffic. But it's a fallacy.

      As Dan Kennedy says "I don't know THE best way to get all the clients you need. But I DO know 16 ways to get ONE client." (Parahrased.)

      It's a critical mindset shift. There IS no single best way. There are DOZENS of ways to do it -- and in entrepreneurship, it almost always takes MORE time, MORE effort and MORE money than you think (hope) it will take to accomplish your goal. So you can't be a one-trick pony.

      There are 101 ways to drive targeted traffic to any website. (Ok, ok, there's more than 101 ways, but you know what I mean. ) The key is to focus on a handful of the best strategies FOR YOU and your niche.

      Make a list of 30-50 different traffic strategies that make sense for you in your market. Then pick just 5 different strategies to help you spread your efforts out a little, yet keep you focused. It also helps buffer you against failure. If one doesn't work, another will. And that will keep you motivated emotionally when something doesn't work (a HUGE key to success since we're all emotional beings and subject to quitting FAR too early).

      So mix it up! Choose different traffic strategies for different reasons:

      1. (Nearly) instant results: PPC -- this satisfies our need for "results NOW dammit!"

      2. Long-term, slow and steady growth: article marketing. This WONT get you instant results, but it allows you to put down deep roots in your niche and brings stability to your business.

      3. Free marketing with HUGE potential income: JVs/affiliate partners. These can take a while to do, but once the deal is sealed and implemented, you can see a huge influx of new people on your list and/or sales. JVs also go a long way towards getting your name "out there" in your market when you partner with people who are ALREADY influential in that niche. It's an implied (if not direct) endorsement in your niche, which goes a long way towards legitimizing you in that niche.

      And so on. I hope this makes sense.

      One of the most common mistakes IMers in general, and especially Warriors, make is they jump from one thing to the next and never see results because they're not FOCUSED:

      F = Follow
      O = One
      C = Course
      U = Until
      S = Successful

      So pick just 5 different traffic strategies, ones that make the most sense for you in your niche, then put on your blinders and work those 5 HARD. Pick different ones for different reasons (instant results, long-term growth, etc.). Mix it up. Stay focused and committed, but if something isn't working, don't be afraid to throw it out and choose another traffic strategy from your list. But commit to working just 5 at a time until you're seeing some results and know what you're doing.

      Above all, have a specific plan and process in place. Don't rely on "hope marketing." Don't spend a bunch of time, effort and money to drive traffic if you don't have a process for converting those visitors once they get to your site.

      Get your squeeze page and offer ready. Get your autoresponders queued up!

      Hope that helps!

        And studiously IGNORE comments from people like Fazal Mayar when they say SEO. As Alexa pointed out, SEO traffic is the most unstable, worst-converting traffic you can have. DON'T waste your time, effort and money on it.
