Hi members

I downloaded a web site to c panel. Now I have to understand how to view the pages. There are four pages to this site. Its a mirrored site and I like to change the language and optimize it for the search engines. First I need to know how to view the page then edit the page then preview the page then publish the site. Is there anyone well versed using c panel?

First, we need to know what type of website or script you are trying to use.. If you are trying to install a script, then it will be alittle complicated for a beginner... If you are just traying to upload a plain html pages, then do the following.

Your homepage shoudl have a file name of index.htm or html
You need to upload your files to the folder public_html. To edit files, open file manager, then select the folders/files you want to edit...

Cpanel is more user friendly than plesk.. it's difficult at first but it is very easy to learn...

let me know if you need more assistance..

I was able to edit the front page. How do I access the other 3 pages? Here is the message I receive when I enter one of the 3 files.

      FrontPage Configuration Information
In the HTML comments, this page contains configuration information that the FrontPage Explorer and FrontPage Editor need to communicate with the FrontPage server extensions installed on this web server. Do not delete this page.

I need to edit those pages. I want the search engines to have a new dialog to search.

YOUR cpanel is configured to use Frontpage extentions? Check your cpanel. Fronpage installed? Many host don't install Frontpage by default.
