Entitlement Marketing

I just read that like 100,000,000 in US are entitled to free food and other free stuff. I met 3 people who never worked get free housing, food, and income every month. The 100M is just food stamps.

How do you think this will effect marketing? It was only 70 million getting free food only 10 years ago. Should we care or just ignore them?

    Keep in mind that the same people getting free food, free clothing and free housing often have cell phones and playstations in their homes.

    They buy all the things that you and I buy, just maybe not as many as you or I do.

    Just because they get entitlements does not necessarily mean that they have an entitlement mindset, or maybe they do.

    I know a lot of folks who get stuff like that, and the only thing I can say for sure about them is that they are all very different in the way they do things and the things they buy. They are America... Just at a lower income level.
