Not sure I understand why people buy articles...

Hello,

If I buy 10 articles for say $70 I am not sure that I know how to get $70 worth of value from them.

Can someone share with me what YOU would do with these articles to get your money back and make a profit?

Thanks!

Hi there are several ways you can get your return back . You can post it in enzine articles, you can use for your own needs. You can prepare a nice ebooks to sell it in internet . Even if you have lot you can sell it by package in ebay too .

You can use the articles to drive traffic to your site by getting them indexed in the search engines. If you have PPC ads on your site, the traffic may click on the ads and you would continuously generate money from that.

I find it hard to believe that 10 articles can produce $70 in PPC clicks or sell that many ebooks.

If you have a high ranking site, using these articles on your site will put those keyword phrases on the first page of Google (if you site ranks high enough). So you are going to get a lot of traffic and then clicks when they come to your site.

Well, don't limit yourself to thinking it's just "ebooks".

Software sells like crazy. As do plenty of other things online.

Just think about the affiliate marketing end of things. All those 10 articles have to do is make you your money back the first month. Depending on what you are promoting, that could be as few as 2 or 3 sales, perhaps just 1.

With just a couple sales the first month, you already break even. With 11 more months in the year to go.

Simplistic way to look at it, but I think it shows you why people are willing to pay money for articles.

Yes, I know the article can be used for different things and in several different ways.

My question is, how do you make a profit? Or do you just consider this it a tool to get Google to index your site and get backlinks for Page Rank?

The object of articles and press releases is to get people to click through to your site and hopefully buy. They are a tool to get your site ranked and get backlinks yes but they are also a sales tool as well. And a well written article can get you sales for years and it will help build "You, Inc." as a brand and expert in your chosen niche. And you can get fast, high quality traffic to boot.

You can structure a membership site entirely with PLR articles. I've done this once. It worked quite well.

Since you're talking about articles you buy, let's say you buy 20 articles a month for a membership site. You want some quality and are willing to pay up to 15 bucks per unique article.

    20*15 = 300 in expenses.

Assuming a very small membership site of 200 members paying a relatively small price of 17 bucks, you have: (200*17) - 300 = 3100$ pure profit.

Unless you're a writer and enjoy writing, or love your niche so much and are ready to spend months creating a complete course, it's a great option.

Wouldn't you say though, that we are already flooded with too many PLR membership sites?

I'm not talking about selling PLR article packages but taking those packages and reselling them as membership sites for niches outside the Internet marketing arena.
