Hey guys,

I realize that OptimizePress 2.0 is supposed to come out in the next 2 weeks, but I'm kind of in a hurry.

What are some alternatives to OptimizePress?

Cuz I need to purchase something that will help me make landing pages easily.

Kind of in a hurry to create landing pages...

Thanks,
Mehdi

    • I use the same thing and I suggest that you can use this too. It works great.
  • I've got some good results from fiverr too. I just recommend buying a few if you're going that route.. you don't want to sit around counting on someone to do a good job only to get junk in return.. but if you order a few.. and you chose them properly you can easily get a nice LP for cheap.

    • I've always used XsitePro since 2008 and will continue to use it for years to come.

It's fast, easy to use and extremely flexible so you can accomplish anything you want.

  • You might want to wait for OP 2.0 if you can. I love the platform.
  • Here's a landing page plugin for Wordpress...you can also just search that site for more options.

WordPress › WordPress Landing Pages « WordPress Plugins

    Good luck!

  • Optimize Press and Squeeze Ninja. Squeeze Ninja being my fav.

    • You might want to give Instabuilder a look. Don't use it myself but I like it as a plugin, vs. Optimize press, which is a theme.
  • I have been thinking about looking at WP Optins as well as you can never have too many tools for the job lol.
  • Highly recommend EpicSqueeze

  • WP Optins may be exactly what I need...

Is it possible to create a squeeze page WITHOUT the opt-in form? So just have a landing page with a button that links to my affiliate link? Or is it necessary for all templates to have an opt-in form...

    Thanks,
    Mehdi

    • You can link to whatever you want. Just test it. If you decide to go with a direct link instead of collecting the email, then remember, you only have one chance to make the sale.

  • If I were you I wouldn't use optimizepress...I have it but, I think the coding in getpremise is far more secure and superior. WordPress Membership Sites & Landing Pages by Premise plus you don't need third party plugins to lock it down.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I've been using Paper Template by Robert Plank and Lance Tamashiro. It's pretty clean and easy to set up.
  • Ok, can someone recommend a squeeze page software/plugin that allows me to create a squeeze page WITHOUT an opt-in form?

Or do they all have the option to not include an opt-in form in the templates provided...?

I just want to have a button linking to my affiliate link...

    • If you don't want an opt-in form then you shouldn't get a squeeze page software. Can you give some info what you're doing please? Are you doing a review or something? If so then just create a review post then put your affiliate link?
  • So you want a squeeze page....where people just buy?
Sorry man I thought the whole purpose of a squeezepage was to add to your list?

OK, so they just buy rather than subscribe....?

Wouldn't it be best to get them on your list and then build a relationship with them?
  • I'm promoting a CPA offer in the sports niche, I wanted to have a "presell" landing page which a "click here for more info" button that will link to an email submit for my CPA offer.

I understand that I'm better off building a list and creating an opt-in form, but I want to try it this way first...because I don't think a person will submit their emails twice on 2 different opt in forms within a 5 minute span.
  • Just like this: Hottest Milf Dating Service! (no nudity on this landing page, don't worry)

Something with a simple button that links to my affiliate, cuz the network I'm using doesnt accept direct linking with CPA, so I want to create just a quick landing page with no opt-in so that they can opt-in on the page after.
  • I want to do it this way for a few reasons:

    1. I don't want to get into email marketing yet
    2. I'm not good at email marketing yet

    • which software are u talking about?
  • My advice: don't use WordPress. It makes your squeeze page slower. For each second slower, a certain % of your visitors leave.

My advice: Learn how to create your own squeeze pages with CSS + HTML or hire someone to do it for you.
  • I'm getting Premise. I see OP have so many designs and functions, but I read that now pros prefer using very simple clean designs or even without any designs just simple landing or optin page, but maximum optimized. I need clean and simple page but with social media option and autoresponder. Premise have it, check they faq page. Price $165, don't know how much will be new OP2.0, the web still under "coming soon"
  • First there are a ton of free html/css landing page templates available free. highly recommend editing free existing code.

As for forms, naked forms are easy to integrate with php mailer (free) and mysql (also free)

    good luck
  • You can use LeadPages to accomplish that. They have simple landing pages where you can set the button link rather than forcing an opt in.

    Might be worth checking out.
  • I have said it before guys, but you should be looking beyond needing just a landing page builder.

You need to be using a platform where you can quickly and easily build hundreds of landing pages, split-test them, segment them, easily add dynamic content (location, referrer, keyword, etc), and then track everything.

This is what the guys who are making the money are doing.
  • that's a wealth of info guys, but i am also in same dillemma about asking for email two times...i guess its gonna b irritating for a visitor.
