Interesting question. My main issue is filtering the "noise" - constant information about new products - and investing time in deciding what products work, what don't etc.

Time - time is an issue in terms of having time in each working day to do what I want and to achieve what I want.

If I could spend every minute doing IM and working I would - but this is not a productive way to go.

In the beginning... I was nothing short of a technical nightmare!

If you're looking for a product to sell though.. I haven't had good experiences selling what people really need vs what they want. Sell what they want, provide what they need.

One of my biggest challenges which I've overcome is prioritsation.

breaking down what needs to be done and prioritising accordingly with a focus on tasks that deliver results.

I used The Answer | The Secret Weapon: Evernote and GTD smoothly integrated into TSW to help overcome this.

Not knowing who to trust and also what I want to do exactly. I have completed so many WSO's and not made any money from them and a lot of that comes down to the keyword selection and what to sell, I am always so sure I have a good product and have checked out the competition etc but still no sales and few visitors to my sites.
Procrastination too, I have WSO's that I have not implemented due to this.
I am starting to change my mindset now though and just get things done, if I am not willing to put in the work then things will never change, I can't keep going on about how much I hate my job and lack of money then do nothing about it.

I am eager to get rid of my job by the end of this year. (as long as I can stop buying WSO's!!!)

Screwing around too much during normal business hours before meeting minimum daily cash flow goals, money in reserve goals, profitability goals, etc.

Pretty much, as a few members have already stated, if I was more consistent, I would cross quite a few more milestones a lot quicker. Basically a similar situation to Anthony J Namata.

As for pollytoast, there are a lot of people in the same boat as you who are actually implementing and not getting quite the results you would like. We're all there, with every new campaign.

That's normal. Just be realistic about the numbers. If you know ahead of time that an offer is going to convert at best maybe 1% to 5%, then you know to expect 1 sale out of every 100 or 20 visitors.

Do you mean employees or customers? If it's employees, give them the boot. If it's customers, well, people who don't use things comes with the information marketing territory.

None of the above. Too much competition. IM pretty much "dead" since about 2006 ones all those major so called "3rd word" Countries gets online: Who are the sellers? Nowadays everybody: India, Pakistan, China, Middle East, US, UK.. Check Fiverr you'll get the Idea. Check the Sellers 80%+ Non-US. Who are the Buyers? Guess what, still US only pretty much. We have what we have 1000 sellers and 2 buyers, so you have to be in top 3 spot to get the orders.
Even PPC doesn't convert for me now. (proven campaigns, always worked) maybe because of the summer slow down?. And it's confirmed by Yahoo and Google latest Earnings report, for both PPC ads placement has been dropped by wide margin. (No wonder, who's going to throw money into the window)
Seriously been in my high 40th, I feel like a kid, submitting those videos, articles, blogs.. TOO MUCH competition, No work anywhere Near 30% unemployment rate in those Countries I mention above within youth population. Everything is overspamed. Poor buyer just don't know what to do.

Don't be so frustrated It's not only you, it's maybe just you, who are truly admit it.
In 2004 if you can send 10k emails into aol you'll make 2-3k/day at least period.
To be successful you need to be in the right place at the right time, that's the key.
It's over. Sure few $ here and there, but the place is full of junk now.. Internet/TV/email whatever, everything is full of junk, people get bombarded with ADV on any level, it's getting annoying. Basically it's legit spam. Sign up forms everywhere, Banners, popups not even talking about emails, got 50+ email boxes all of them just died under attack. Even legit guys are now sending 4-5 emails per day? They think more they send more $ it is.
Good luck. I've been in this biz since y2k and it's Dead, everyone saying otherwise more likely lying, unless they are owners of Google or something. Keep digging.

Stop buying products. They are not your key to success. Consistency and the ability to stick to one thing is really crucial.

There are so many options :

      CPA
      video marketing
      blogging
      PPC
      PPV

and a boat load more acronyms and options! But the key is consistency...Good luck to you!
