Move Website To Wordpress Blogger?

Hello warriors

Currently my biggest content site is my martial arts site: martialartsheadquarters.net

I've bought a new domain for my site, thought it should improve my "trust" status with the search engines because google currently my domain is three months old.

Should I keep the site static or should I move it to wordpress and start a big blog?

    Personally I love wordpress.

With wordpress you can have static pages giving the impression of a normal website and at the same time have a blog running on a seperate page.

The benefits also of the amazing amount of plugins available both for seo and content.

I would say wordpress without a doubt.

Wordpress is probably a good way to go since its soo easy to use and it saves alot of time when formatting pages and posts.

Also the plugins for wordpress are one reason they make it a good choice.

Can't fail to get hacked maybe. Wordpress has serious security issues. Just search here or Google for "wordpress hacked" Plugins and themes are of drasticly varying quality. Just yesterday a fellow warrior got hacked

I looked at your site. You've got quite a few tables. They are no fun to stuff into wordpress. You'd pretty much need to use a flexible width theme to accommodate them. What's more you have a nice informational site. Those are best layed out as a traditional site in my opinion. You *can* do that with Wordpress pages, but depending on the them you use it can be a pain.

I'd stay static and if you needed a blog for shorter articles and comments I'd add it on by using Googles Blogger ftp'd to your domain. It's free and works great. That way you almost zero security concerns and have an interactive aspect as well. I'm just not in love with Wordpress. I've been hacked before and it isn't worth my time and effort to fix broken apps.

I also love WP for all the plugins and themes and especially the opportunity to promote ebay products easily with plugins like phpbay, but for the most part, my xsite pro (versions 1 and 2) sites get ranked faster. Of course that is what the creators aimed for...

I recommend Wordpress too, as mentioned above it is very easy to use, lots of customization available through themes and plugins and Google seems to love it too. The only thing is be sure to use the self hosted one rather than the wordpress.com one
