Can you find Google Ads for Info Products?

I know Google has really come down hard on markets like make money and biz-op stuff but I can't seem to find Google search ads for any information products... PERIOD.

Is this because people have actually tested these keywords and they don't work or because Google Paid Search Ads are dead for information marketers?

For example... I typed in a number of search terms relating to learning how to jump higher. This market definitely has several developed information marketing businesses related to it and you can't find a single ad anywhere.

Same thing with the dating niche... Almost every search term I put into Google doesn't return any ads?

This can't be because marketers don't want the traffic related to those search terms.

What are you thoughts? Do you see anybody using Google Search for information products and not the display network I mean real Sponsored Google Search ads?

You are partially right. It appears to be less of those then before, but you can find ads related to "real businesses" related to money niche, and less of biz-ops.
Though I can tell you that it may be the reason be cause savvy marketers in that niche are targeting their markets these days not only with Google, but more with LinkedIn, FB, even Twitter to some extend, and traditional Direct Mail, because these networks allows them to be more precise.
And it all depends on research, marketing budget, target market, etc.
Not really newbie friendly environment, it takes some time to master it, but don't be discouraged it's all doable, it just takes time, and of course money.

    See ya,

Google is NOT a fan of affiliate or info marketers.

They're constantly doing 'something' to prevent marketers from using them as a method to get infront of prospects.

Just this week, they changed gmail to having 3 email tabs instead of 1. The last is titles Promotion and they're sticking everything in there that THEY think MAY be promotional material.

But.. to answer your question, yes there are still some info products on Google (the last time I checked) the only issue is that you can't promote just an optin page or a sales page anymore, you have to promote your entire site which makes it more difficult to optimize.

I got hit with the ban hammer years back, and have given them the finger back ever since. I now focus on driving traffic with other ways than anything that has to do with focusing on Google, since they're constantly updating something to make it more difficult on marketers.
