Advice For Beginner...Sort Of

by PayForWords Banned

Okay, so here's a little background information on myself:

1. I've been a full time writer for 2-3 years

2. I've been doing SEO content exlusively for 1+ years

3. I am launching Pay For Words in the next 1-2 weeks

4. I've already bought two WSOs here that were very helpful

Any advice on how to market my business? Anyone else in this business?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Your theme is cool looking, but obviously there's still some work that needs finished on your page.

What I've noticed from people that write and Stick with it... they charge more and get repeat clients. Outsourcing is also key to growth... not so much in the fact that you'll pay the lowest amount to get the work done, but more along the lines that it's better to make $10 off a $25 article and have it done well than not have time to complete it.

Copywriting also pays better, so if you can expand into writing copy that converts you can charge a few hundred or a few thousand for a piece of your content instead of 20/25.

Thanks! It's coming together a lot better now (logo, some content, etc).

Right now, the staff is only 2 people but once work starts coming in, we do plan on hiring another writer.

      Thanks for your input!

I'd put an ad in the Warriors for Hire section and get some traffic that way. You could also run a special as a WSO. This would get you off to a good start. Also, market in other forums, especially SEO forums.

What I have seen that works for most writers on this forum is to have a great service and customer service along with glowing reviews.

That alone will not only build trust, but have people coming and buying your services by word of mouth, repeat buyers, etc.

You seem to have a great background to help launch your online product/marketing career and the fact you're moving forward and progressing is great. Maybe a facebook group, youtube channel could be good for expanding your audience and awareness.

They are but it's no big deal. I got that site done in 3 days w/ me and one other person and we really just wanted to get it up to have something to look at. It doesn't launch officially until Monday.

I didn't mention it before but we'll be doing that as well. It's listed in the Pricing section.

Oh and thanks for the compliment on the site!

    The 'be everywhere' mindset.

Be on YouTube. Twitter. Facebook. Do list building.

Do a little bit of everything to get your business as much promotion and publicity as possible.

I've considered doing that. Does it really make a huge difference?

What if I had a video done to put a face with the company?

      Thanks for the tips!

Create attractive looking ads and run it through Display network. Also you can advertise through FB, targeting the right audience and SEO forums, there are lots of people who need good articles.
