Product Launch Emails

On a product launch, if I have an autoresponder sequence set in place -and someone signs up for my early bird list the day before launch - they'll be receiving the first autoresponder message and won't be up to date with the launch...

On the other hand, if I just send out broadcasts - then that means new sign ups will miss out on the pre sell content I've given others on my list...

So what do you do to deal with this?

You will need to create two lists! Eventually you will need to segment a third list of buyers! Who do you have your autoresponder with?

Thanks for your reply Paulie - but I don't see how that would help at all...

...I've already got 3 lists; my early bird list, my VIP list and my buyers list...

...I need to know how to maybe segment the current list so that subscribers don't receive autoresponder messages during launch week and only broadcast messages...

Usually what I do is provide the pre-sell bonus stuff in the members area after the pre-launch is over.

Then just follow up with the pre-launch list about what am offering. If they do happen to buy I would segment them on to my buyers list.

Ive find this to be the best way to go about it.

    Segment your list.

Your very first lead gen goes into a 'seed' list.
