How to research the most popular iPhone Applications?

Hi all,

Just wondering does anyone know how you can research what iPhone & Android applications are most popular based on category, preset by 30 days, 7 days e.t.c?

I am curious to do some research on what applications are popular, missing gaps in the market e.t.c

Any help would be massively appreciated!

    I tend to also believe that google trend search will work out.You just need to key in your key words and do search.
    Just thinking that it would work out a great deal.

  • I go to iTunes to see what there most popular apps are, but I have used Google Trend in the past as well.
  • Go onto Android application databases like Aptoide.

    You might also want to see the search volume.
  • you can also do this using your androiid you can go into google place store and when you type in an app or category it will show you the most popular first.
