How To Self Promote Your eBooks?

Well, I learned what 'does not' work. I went on Facebook and posted about 15 links and wound up getting banned within the first 10 minutes of creating the account. LOL!

Any other bright ideas? That was my only. :rolleyes:

    You can promote on Facebook, you just have to do it right.
    Also you need to vary up your message.

      You can promote using writer's forums and Web sites who will let you announce your e-Book. You can also use blogs and free article directories like Ezine.

    Just off the top of my head:

    Create a sales letter and/or VSL.

    Make an authority blog or full-fledged site to help you gain natural listing exposure (which could work wonders - depending upon the level of competition in your niche and the quality of what you write.)

    Produce some YouTube videos that position you as an authority, while continuing to drive potential prospects onto your sales letter, VSL or authority presence.

    Create some email swipes and buy a few solo ads.

    Put your site up on Clickbank and try to attract affiliates to spend their own money to promote your site (once you've proven your copy converts.)

    Find some forums that are specific to your niche and contribute or freely give information (like I am right now.)

    Etc., etc., etc.

    wow. Listen there really is no fast way to make sales online. It really comes down to the demographics of a network and your offer as well as conversions. Testing, testing, testing

    Social networking is just one way to get traffic but simply posting your sales page all over the place surely is not what people want to see. Its like you watching your favorite tv show and a commercial airing every 2 min. Soon, nobody is going to look at you. In this case you got luck and they banned you. Learn about social marketing and if its somethiing you want to try just start again! You'll do it. Do you have a budget? Or just using free advertising? Since your new Id start off with the free till you learn about conversions. You'll get there, one step at a time and stay aware and learn along the way.

    I don't know what kind of market you're marketing to, but take a leaf out of the successful authors.

    Publish on Kindle, get a community/fan-following.

    Look at Timothy Ferriss. He's established a huge list of followers doing self-promotion on his site. He does blog marketing, on top of a lot efforts.

    Most importantly, you want long-term revenue, so better make sure the book's of good quality.

    well instead of 1 account spread it out over 10 accounts for your 15 links. That will work better and harder to detect.

    I believe the best way to promote your business is presenting it visually. Create an eye catching website, attractive Facebook pages, upload intriguing pictures and make some videos and promote it in search engines and social networks, make sure it reaches targeted audience. It should grab their attention and make them purchase your E-Books.
