Install multiple wp themes in one website

Hello experts

Can we install multiple wp themes into one website where each wp theme is in different category or different page?

If I have a website, say I want the homepage to be installed with the first wp theme (like this: Road Fighter Interior Design Niche), and I would like to have another theme installed in the "video" category (like this:dumbbells.tv) and and another theme to be installed in the "news" category (like this: cmd.me)

Is it possible?

I know it is possible with subdomains but within the same domain, is it possible to install different themes while maintaining the sitemap?

One Wordpress install allows only one theme.

You can install more than one Wordpress installs on your domain though if you desperately need to use different themes. For example I use Optimize Press on some sites to host my sales page and then I have a members area (on that same domain) that uses a separate Wordpress install with a different theme.

You might be able to put it into a subdirectory(folder) on your site. Although I had tried doing this on one of my sites and it didn't work, I ended up putting it as a subdomain.

I have 4 wordpress sites on 1 domain, each in a sub-directory and I use 2 different themes.
Just set up a new directory and install wordpress on each directory ..works well

Relying on a plugin going forward would probably be too risky for me. I would advise you do separate installs as that is how Wordpress works. What happens when these people stop updating and supporting their plugin. You then have to go back and reconfigure everything.

Very good point about plugin volatility.

only one wordpress theme is allowed in each domain. if you want multiple theme to use, you can add sudomain to your website and install the other wp theme that you want to use.
