Questions about article syndication? The Do's and Don't's

I am looking to do some article syndication. And I am looking for the best way to setup and use a syndication service. I would have put this in the article section but looking at it there was five pages and still no response.

Can I take any piece of content and just syndicate it?

Should I use a base piece of content and use new syndicated content linking back to the base?

Or should I only be syndicating new content?

Is spun content ok to use if it's good and readable?

Thanks in advance!

It's a hugely personal business, based on relationship-building. I don't understand how a "service" would work, at all. The ones I've known of, in the past, are no longer offering it (it's easy to see why). The ones now calling themselves "article syndication services" are not in fact genuine syndication services at all, according to an article marketer's understanding of "article syndication": they're just other, mostly SEO-based services using the word "syndication" to try to fool people because they know that that's a real selling-point, with so many people doing so well at the moment through real article syndication. They're really just "multiple submission services", and that's a waste of time.

There are reasons for that. That section is for articles, not for discussions. There are no "responses" there. And it's also closed to new members.

As long as you own the copyright to it, you can, in theory, if people (who have the traffic you want) choose to publish it.

Having it published in places where you can "just submit it yourself" and there isn't any editorial/approval process isn't worthwhile, though.

I don't understand this question, but I think the answer's "no" and that the question arises because you perhaps don't quite appreciate what article syndication is.

(Clearly, one would never want to send a reader from one copy of an article to another copy of that same article.)

No, under no circumstances. It's completely pointless, futile and unnecessary, and has nothing to do with article syndication at all. This post explains why: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8276573

See if this helps you: the underlying basis of article marketing is that you have your articles published as widely as possible (after they've initially been published and indexed on your own site) in places that already have the targeted traffic you want to attract to your site as your business's traffic-generation method; the content needs to impress the publishers/owners/webmasters of those places so much that they choose to use it in order to serve their own constant need for content to share with their own visitors/readers/subscribers.
