If You're Still Looking For A Niche, You Need To...

Hey guys,

If you're a person who is struggling to find a profitable niche or if you are someone who is searching frantically on Google for specific search phrases, exact matches, keyword density and so forth then you really need to read this.

Now, this isn't some kind of fancy new way to dig for gold or another search technique. This is extremely easy to do and can be done anywhere, you don;t even need to be online.

Forget exact match, forget about competition and competing phrases.

The method I have always used and continue to use will never be overused, saturated or stop working... ever!

It's because this method is about YOU. Everyone is different and has different priorities, needs wants and desires. This is the most powerful way I have ever found to uncover profitable niches.

Okay, I've put it off long enough... here it goes:

Ask yourself, "What am I interested in learning?"

What I mean by that is what are the things you are wanting to know more about yourself? What are your interests?

STOP thinking about what niches are most profitable and start thinking about what it is you are interested in. What problems do YOU need solved?

Here's why this works:

You won't get bored and jump to a different "thingy" if it's something you genuinely want to know how to do, solve your own problem, etc.

Now go do it... After you have found that one thing you most desire how to do, go do it. Buy all the products that interest you and think that can solve your problem. Go through every bit of that material and follow it.

Example:

I want to lose weight and get in fantastic shape but I lack motivation and time. So I set out to find products that will allow me to lose weight while freeing up my time.

I go through those products and put them into action.

I write down everything I am doing. How it's working (good or bad) things I tweak and make changes to. Things that didn't work for me.

As you go through this you will discover things that could be explained better, more detail needed, how to make the results you're experiencing even better with less time, etc.

You become the proof...

Can you see where I am heading with this example? Of course you will find even better methods the more you explore your own interests and it will be fun, you'll learn something new and the outcome will be beneficial to you for whatever it is you chose so long as you are interested in it.

    Mike,

    Good thread and great post.

I have just one comment: Not all niches are great "money makers."

So just go into this approach understanding that your interest may not be conducive to building a lucrative business.

This is a great way to learn the process of how to build a business, create a product, fill a need, etc.

But sometimes following your passion can lead to ending up with a "hobby business" rather than a money-maker. If you are concerned about building an income, I believe, you need to go where the money is.

    Thanks again for your post.

That's why I stressed your biggest desire... The one thing you want to know more about over everything else going on in your life right now.

If someone had said "basket weaving" I'd say get a life! :p

If that's the ONLY thing you are interested in beyond measure then there is nothing I could ever say to help them.

If you have a truly deep desire for something then there is a really good possibility others have that same passion. Only you can really tell for yourself.

It could be something like :

I truly and passionately want to quit smoking once and for all.
I really want to have a much better relationship with my kids
I really want to lose weight and prove to my friends it's possible that even I can do it
I really want to learn French so I can surprise my wife on our anniversary

You get the idea... It's something that will ultimately improve the quality of your life.
