Dumb question... but I need help

Hey Everyone,

I have sort of a "newbie question" however I can't seem to figure out the answer on my own.

So here it is...

How do you figure out what percentage your lead capture page is actually converting at?

Where do you find or calculate that conversion rate?

Do you use Google Analytics?

I've heard over and over again the importance of tracking this number and doing split tests however I'm not sure exactly how you do it.

Your help and input is always appreciated

    Number of Leads Collected / Total Traffic to Site x 100 = Conversion Rate

    Sales

    Number of Sales / Number of Visitors x 100 = Conversion Rate

    Work out how many conversions you get from every 100 people that visit the page ie....

    You get 300 visits and from that 10 conversions

    You're conversion rate is 3.3%
