How many hours per week do you give to Internet marketing..including writings, seo, bookmarking..ect

Do you see a connection to the amount of time put in to the amount of results that you get

    Hey,

My company is a full-time online business, thus, we work about 12 hours day..., in multiple fields, with multiple things.

However, just one website, to pull in maybe $2,000 per month, should only require 1-2 hours per day of work after initial 10-12 hour setup.

Personally, the beginning was the bear. I was determined to learn how to make money, make a website, market it and etc. The early days were 100 hour weeks sometimes. Now the only thing I need do is check stats, PPC conversions, and work on the glitches. I could coast at 7 hours a week. But seeing the internet is every evolving, hot markets change to cold, unknown markets get hot, and I am greedy, I still work probably 50 hours a week, sometimes much more depending on the ideas I have.

Right now I'm getting a project going and I'm working 10 to 12 hour days. My goal is to get to that point of "cruising" for 7 hours a week. Whew!

Course, then I'll probably want to do more. I have a lot of ideas for "down the road".

Also, I think I can contiually learn new things, so I'll spend time doing that.

Actually, right now I'm wondering, "Does it ever get easier? Like others say it does?

I does get easier somewhat, but sometimes more frustrating. No one strategy works forever, and sometimes a very short period. I am lucky to have a very steady base on my main stream, but it also will not last. So much of my time is reseach, testing, and tweaking. But it still comes down to how much you want from the internet. You may be able to make a living and cruise 7 hours a week. You may want to make a million. Sometimes the work you put in is the results you get out.

Recently i've become more focused on my business and am trying to spend 35 hours a week on it.

Though as i'm enjoying what I do I can easily see myself spending more. But what's most important isn't how long I spend on it it's what I get done in that time.
