Need a link cloaker to hide my sales page url

Hi all,

Is there a link cloaker for wordpress that will hide my sales url from the merchant? I tried pretty links, but it will show the page where the sale is made instead of showing pretty links url.

    You need to blank the referer. But.... first, why do you want to hide your sales page from the merchant???

    You need permission to "cloak" a link or to put your offer in a frame. Affiliate networks like CJ don't allow it under any circumstances. But if you do want to know how to cloak a link all you have to do is search Google for information on how to put an affiliate offer in a FRAME.

      WP Traffic sounds like something I am looking for. Basically I advertise on bing, and the referred url will show bing with my keywords at the end. Hence my merchant will know which keywords I am buying and converting well. If my merchant knows my converting keywords, they will outbid me. So I need something to mask the affilite url so it won't show the bing url. Can WP Traffic do that? Does Referred blank on all redirects mask away my bing url?

        Hi it can wash the referrer before passing the traffic.

        This sounds pretty aggressive on the part of the merchant (see the bolded phrase in the above).

        In my experience, most merchants won't even expend the effort required to dig into the details of their referred sales to that extent, but...

        If a merchant truly appreciates his affiliate force, he/she will take great pains NOT to compete with them directly.

        If a merchant is actively competing with their affiliates - do you really want to be in that sort of relationship? Rather than putting in so much effort to hide your activities from the merchant, wouldn't it be more productive to be an affiliate for his competition?

        Run your Bing ads for the competitor's product. If your ad keywords are that much more productive - you'll earn commissions from the competitor's product, and your current merchant will miss out on sales.

        BTW - a link cloaker won't hide the BING URL, nor the keywords used. If the traffic to the merchant's site comes from Bing (or google, or... ) the URL of the referring page (the search page) is passed as the referring URL, and search engines typically also pass the keywords along with your affiliate id, as a part of the URL parameter string.

    If you want to fully cloak your link, you can try the adtrackz gold script as it can completely cloak the link and the user will not be able to find it,

    No in CPA and Affiliate marketing this does not happen. if you are in a good network who are established and the Merchant is older with the network it wont happen. Merchants does not interfere with your keywords or traffic sources .. Yes from time to time they may ask you from where your traffic is coming but they dont seek details of keywords and such as.

    If you feel like they are going to outbid you, better you stay away from them.


    On a separate note : if you hide your traffic referral the network might suspend your account so be upfront clear with the network that you are going to clock the referer...

    The tool you need (Really?) is prosper 202 (Free) with Clocking on..

    May be not a wordpress plugin as your request but I suggest you make a file to do that, using htaccess or php header location to make prety links. I am using this method.

    I used Prosper202 to cloak before and it works great. But it takes a long time to setup a linkn cloak. Any other wordpress plugins that works like Prosper202 cloaking?
