Is this Video Commerical Too Long?

I put together all the elements for this video, so as the creator... Its flows from beginning to end without seeming to take forever to get to the point. However, when I think about how long an average commercial is, they're normally no longer than a minute... What do you guys think, does the video feel like its too long or is it just right for youtube?

Over use of the hand scripting effect, for no apparent benefit to the meaning of the video. This is one of the reasons I dislike such services - as most users think that the "effect" will make their video better, when in fact it can distract, just like in yours.

Very little branding in your video. Virtually no impact or no emotion in the dialogue.

I don't really know if it was too long, but I do know that by the time I got to the end, I had no idea what your CTA was for.

I guess it wasn't apparent enough but the CTA was supposed to be to contact us about the free service you could receive once you obtain a membership card. How do you think I can tie that in better?

I have to agree - also through my own video marketing I have found you need to give the person a reason to stick around in the first 10 seconds.

You have a limited time to capture peoples attention and if you don't people do not stick around much longer than that based on what I see in youtube analytics.

According to video commerical experts the video must be between 1-3 minutes

Im afraid it is.. as a viewer i don't mind watching a video that tells a story, funny etc.but i think here it is better if it is a little shorter..just my opinion.

The length is about the limit to what an "explainer" video should be.

However, IMO it's missing 3 key elements:

    1. Make the benefits really clear. Really pound them. I never quite got why I should call and what's really in it for me.

    2. Testimonials. What are other people saying that will help me call?

    3. Some type of urgency. "The next 20 people to call will get..." or "Special bonus offer only good this summer", etc.

I really appreciate the ideas and the constructive criticism, will definitely make some adjustments on the next one. BTW @writeaway how much would you charge per post and how would you go about getting them to be interested in posting it?
