Lately I have been submitting videos to 8 different video directories:

YouTube
Veoh
Dailymotion
Google
Yahoo
Revver
Viddler
Spike

I have used the same exact title, tags, descriptions, keyword phrases etc. in each video submission. The video directory that gets ranked the quickest, the highest, and has the most staying power has consistently been Revver.

Just thought I'd pass that on...

Let me know what video directories work best for you...I'll add them to my list.

    Revver?

You mean search engine rankings right?

I have also seen some amazing results from Revver and even ovi . (Now who knows that? hehehe)

    Sometimes thgings just behave unexpectedly.

Also try stripping the sudio out of it and submitting it to podcasting sites like podcastalley.com . You will like the results.

yes...I mean search engine rankings...and I have only looked at Google so far.

        Haven't heard of ovi...I'll look into that...thanks

I should have stated that I have only submitted 10 videos so far and out of those 10 videos to those 8 video directories Revver has performed the best in Google.

At this point I do the submissions manually myself. It's not too time consuming since I just copy and paste the description. Of course, the more directories I add the more time it will take.

What do you mean by "stripping the sudio out of it"?

          Ouch!

I meant stripping the audios out of it... with the presumption that you will be talking yourself in the videos like most videos created with Camtasia or a camera...

            okay...thanks...

These particluar videos are more like real estate virtual tours. My wife is a real estate agent and I use her photos to make videos with our logo and advertising and add background music so the podcasting won't work for these, but I will try it with future videos that I plan on making using powerpoint and voiceover.

            Thanks...

I'd say just go for trafficgeyser free 30 day trial- use the trial to upload all your videos to almost every video and podcast directory out there. Not ment to plug it in- it's a great resource and it's free- You can upload like all the videos you have in that trial period.
