Question about Ebooks!!! Newbies need help!!! Will this work?

I have been abandon IM for couple of times but somehow I am back again… I have tried to be Amazon affiliates, but didn’t do well as the commission is pretty low and I am not good at driving traffic to my site…so I have two big question in minds..

1] What is the most popular way to drive traffic to my sites nowadays?

2] I am consider selling ebooks by three main ways, firstly, creating a site and attach the paypal function, secondly, selling ebooks in amazon kindle, and thirdly by clickbank which might incur a monthly fee, any comments on these methods? I am going to give some guides on some specifc niche.

3] For creating ebook, after I have include my contents and images into the ebooks, how to I embed design into my ebook to make it look more decent?

4] Is it the general way is to make a rough version of the ebook first, and if it sells well, devote more time to make it better and mark up the price?

5] I wonder if there is any sticky post where there are lots of resources for newbies like me to get started in selling ebooks?

Thanks!

I agree with you that driving targeted traffic to your site has become quite hard nowadays, that is why you must optimize conversions on your site to make the most of the little traffic you get.

Also, do hang out in places where your prospects are. If there are on Facebook, go there. If they are on forums, go there. Once you get them on your site, give them value to keep coming. Regular updates are very important.

I see you want to be present on many platforms, but try to focus on one platform until you are successful before moving to the next one. If I were in your place, I would try to put something up quickly and start selling ASAP at a lower price, then I'll gather more feedback and improve the product and raise the price.

I wish you all the best in your projects.

thanks for your reply, which area you prefer I should try first to get result QUICK? As what im planning is just to write some reviews or what includes in the ebooks and put it on the net, so I guess there wouldnt be a lot of updates?

I would also like to know whether the monthly payment worth in clickbank? Is selling in clickbank as effective as it claimed? anyone have tried?

Why restrict yourself to just writing reviews? Write on interesting topics related to the product to catch more eyeballs...

Clickbank doesn't work with a one time payment anymore?

    Bro,

there's only one way to drive traffic to a site. You need to pick one method and stick to it until it starts to work. It doesn't matter which one - facebook ads / PPC / SEO / Youtube / Forum Posting / Guest blogging etc.

Pick one and then do a search through the warrior forum / google and figure out how to do it.

Then commit yourself to sticking with the one method for at least a month or 2 until you are driving traffic to your site.

The quickest way to get traffic is to pay for it so if you have the money to invest set up a PPC campaign on buy a FB ad.

There's no point worrying about optimizing conversions until you have a steady flow of people coming to your site. The first problem is to get a steady stream of visitors!

BUT. If you want my honest opinion you should find a niche that is a little more desperate. I recommend the health niche because people suffering a serious health problem are going to spend whatever it takes to fix the problem.

Don't be afraid of going after a popular niche like weight loss - there's loads of affiliate marketers in this niche for one reason - they are making money and you can to if you get involved and copy the strategies that are working for so many other people.

So I would go to Clickbank and find some ebook that is selling like hotcakes, sort search results by gravity, and pick one that has a nice high payout around $50 plus.

Now set up a squeeze page, create an awesome giveaway product, collect subscribers and then create an email marketing campaign to sell to them.

Remember what kills most IM newbies is they chop and change so often they never master any skill. If you really want to stick to your sewing machine site do it. You can make money with it but you've got to monetize it more.

You need to add in some calls to action to get people to actually click on your links. Also you need to pay someone to go through it and fix up the gramma mistakes so it reads better.

It's a good looking site though - I can see you've spent loads of time on it. It's hard enough marketing in your first language let alone a second language.

Make your plan and stick at it. Good luck mate
