My Secret to Earning More than you are NOW...

... Stop spending so much time on the Warrior Forum!

Seriously, limit yourself to an hour a week on the Warrior Forum and you'd be surprised how much time you'd save. I have posted on here for AGES and I've seen my income, double, treble, quadruple because the time I was spending posting I am now spending working.

Go on... Be brave and break out of the routine of coming on here, reading some BS and posting some more BS.

Not disputing that... Hence the 1 hour a week Any more than that and you're just wasting your time with the crap you'll read here.

But there's people here that must spend every waking moment browsing the WF assuming that some magic formula will appear teaching them how to make money online.

Hard work -- That's what you need!

Oh... And I'd take a lot of 'gospel' you read here with a big pinch of salt.

Yup, hard work is the magic formula to success in this business just like in pretty much every other business around. You can definitely learn a ton from this forum but if you don't put it to work in your business you won't earn a dime.

That being said if everyone would only spend an hour a week here then we wouldn't have access to half of the useful information found here. Definitely spend the majority of your time working your business but then come back to learn and assist those who need your help.

        Jon.

Good advice. You won't make money online just by reading about different methods even if they're good.

There's nothing wrong with spending time here & forming relationships with others, learning new strategies, answering questions, etc. It's just a matter of setting aside enough time each day to get everything else done.

My recommendation is to use this forum as a tool for learning, time spent is irrelevant IMO, as long as its spent doing the right things

I definitely agree. I was sucked into reading loads of different techniques one after the other and trying to do them all half pie. The end result was sfa... no traffic and no money.

The key to making money in this gig is to stick to one traffic generation strategy until you've got it mastered. In the meantime don't even look for new ways to make money online.

Yes, I agree, definitely limit your time here, and if you have a War Room membership, spend most of your time there for learning purposes.

Having said that, I have learned a lot here, even here in the main discussion forum. You just have to be able to discern who is "talking out of the side of their neck" or "talking BS" and who actually knows what they are talking about.

OP, with the greatest respect, who are YOU to tell other members how much time they should spend on WF. What's bullshit to you may be gold dust to others.

There are lots of newbies, single folk, retired people. etc, to whom a few hours a day on here is THE most important part of their day. Whether they accomplish anything from that time is irrelevant. What matters is it's THEIR time, not yours.

You may as well admonish people for what supermarket they use. Again, it's their choice not yours.

I am not sure what the point of this thread is. It is almost like saying everyone stop wasting your time learning new things!! go out there and do something!

The fact of the matter is the forums like this one is where like minded individuals come together and learn from each other. I spend about 30 minutes to and hour every 2 days on two select forums CPAFix and Warrior. Now i do admit there are MANY useless threads but there are a lot of great ones.

Also, forums are great for new affiliates who have no clue what they are doing. they are indispensable because when affiliates have no idea what they are doing...they do it all wrong and make everything harder on regular affiliate marketers. improper promotion, back hat, and other types of incorrect promotion only gives affiliate marketers a bad name.

I am not even sure why this thread is still up since it is basically telling everyone to stop coming to this website, which the owner of this website probably wouldn't be too fond of...but thats just me. I know I wouldn't like it

If you're target market is other marketers, then spending more than an hour a week here might be to your advantage. If you are simply looking for tips to apply to another niche, then limiting your time on the forum is a good thing.

Nothing wrong with spending more than an hour per week here if you enjoy it. The trick is not to limit things like that. The trick is to plan out your days so that all your important and money making tasks are completed in the first half of your day, before you check any emails, helpdesks, social networks, forums, etc.

That leaves you with the second half of the day to do all of the other tasks in your business and for some that will include networking and forum marketing.

Do that and you will get more done than 99% of people out there and also earn more than 99% of people out there.

But just limiting your time in this forum is not magically going to make someone earn more money.

Unless you are actively using the forum (or any forum, for that matter) to make money, then you are better off putting your time into actually working on your business.

For example, imagine that you write articles as an outsourcer to make money. You have more work available than you can handle, and every hour's work is worth $20 to you.

Now if you're spending 2 hours per day on the Warrior Forum instead of actually working, then you are losing $40 every day. That's $200 per average working week, or $800 per month.

Of course if you make money from signature posting or something like that, then you should spend more, not less time, on the forums you frequent. It's all a question of what value it brings for your business goals!

The Warrior Forum is a very valuable source of information. Your goal, objective and plan should determine how much time you spend here.

Starting your day with a plan is the key. Depending on what your plan is, visiting the Warrior Forum can be the most important task on your list, especially if you market to other IMers, want to keep your finger on the pulse of the industry, and/or you want to promote your services or products.

On the other hand, if IMers are not your target market or your plan entails completing tasks requiring focus and taking pre-determined action, limiting your time on the WF would be wise.

Time really flies when you start reading threads, commenting and conducting searches on the WF. If you're not careful, you can use the WF as a procrastination tool ... trying to fool yourself into thinking that you're being productive.

Being mindful of where you spend your time and how much time you spend can increase your bottom line.

The main point of the thread is that we should spend some of our time "doing" as well as "learning".

If we are not doing what we learned, it will certainly eat into our earning potential.

With that said, I do a drive-by of the forum once or twice a day, and I try to hold myself to 20 minutes while here, although sometimes I spend more time here and sometimes less time.

I'm at the point in my IM career that I pretty much know what niches I want to do, and how I go about it...so I'll skim the first page of this forum, and look for things that I think that are relevant to helping me further my career.

For those that are new, I encourage that you spend some time on here, and ask questions...the end goal is narrowing it down to one niche, one site, and one traffic method to start with.

But you have to start and take action.

I have a different opinion based on my experience. I never spend hours at the Warrior Forum, but a few minutes a day.

Coming here everyday helps me be in touch with marketing, helps me find solutions, think better, learn things I ignore. Even when I feel I’m wasting time I’m learning something that I may not use today, but may help me tomorrow.
