Do All Affiliates Link To External Sites?

Recently I have been performing many Google searches and their literally hundreds of sites with their own shopping carts selling big ticket items and huge stocks. For me this means they huge warehouses which highly because they don't have the marketing behind or they have huge drop shipping networks.

Im confused as to how hundreds of websites can list thousands of vacuum cleaners. In the UK I might be able to name 10 large retailers and household names.

    Thanks but I have seen some sites with huge product ranges. 200 furniture items plus.

    I cant think how they would finance it if it took off.

      Drop shippers do not stock the items, they just fill orders. For example about 10 or so years ago I wanted to sell computer hardware online. My major competitor was newegg.com. I signed up with 7 distributors, bought a ecommerce platform which ran on my own server and compiled a catalog of over 35,000 items.

      Now my site didn't fly for several reasons, but this is the concept. It's a low investment business model.

    Hi,

    I have heard of but if I sell 10 pieces of furniture in a month I still need the capital to order the 10 peices of furniture.

    I also need to populate a database from several merchants.
