getting my video file to play on my dvd player....

Hi All,

This may sound like a silly question, but I just can't figure out the answer...

I'm trying to get my video file to play on my dvd player and it just won't work. I've tried avi and mpeg-4 formats and both don't work...

Can anyone help me out???

Thanks!!
Rebecca

Have you checked if it is NTSC or PAL format?

First you have to make sure that your DVD PLayer supports the function of playing your video file. Usually you will find a hint directly on the DVD player, i.e. on a sticker. Also the manual of the DVD player will give you hints how to play that file ( it is different from player to player, some supports the file, for some you will need to create a DVD / Video CD etc.)
