Best way to promote my keyword research service?

Hi everyone,

Just launched this service last week http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...nk-amazon.html, and so far it has been doing well. Got a couple of orders, customers are happy with the service and got a few nice reviews. Now I think I'm going to start building the site to get some customers from Google too.

Just bumped the thread to get more exposure, want to get a few more sales to get a feeling of what can be improved in the service and what customers like so I can make sure of providing the best quality service I can before going bigger, but after that would like to promote the service further.

What do you suggest to do to promote this service? I was thinking in buying a banner add, although I've read it's kind of hard to get a spot there.

Would a WSO be a good idea? Not sure how to build a WSO for a service.

I was also thinking in partnering with someone, again I'm not sure of what would be the way to proceed with this.

All tips and suggestions are welcomed! Either to promote it here in the forum or outside. Feel free to criticize, it's always good to have an honest feedback.

Beside using social media, you can try to promote your business using a blog... give a sample to your next client... If you can build a new blog and optimize keyword usage with white hat SEO, people will surely come for your service

If you are going the WSO route I would suggest a membership site type set up opposed to a one off service.

You could try getting in touch with businesses that build out websites. Many of their customers are probably looking for your type of service. If the business that builds websites does't do this, then they can offer your service as an add-on.

They could either offer it on their own billing and outsource to you or they could just recommend you. That's a discussion you would have to have with them.

Nevertheless, a pretty straight forward way of getting clients by piggy backing of other others in a similar business by not directly competing.

A nice way to start the relationship would be to offer to do something for their site for free before suggesting the business relationship.

Something like that could keep you busy for a long time. Hope that helps

This is a good idea Mitch, complementing services. I think I'll post in the JV forum to see if I can find someone.

Got an idea, don't know if it's allowed.

I'm a member of the war room. I was thinking in giving away a couple of keywords for free (without optin), this would give me more exposure.

Is this allowed? Or is there any other section in the forum where I could do this?

Social Media and Blog Posting. A Press Release to SBWire would be a good idea as well. Good luck with the new service!
