Is DMS from Pagelines a Wordpress Design (r)Evolution?

What do you think about this new WP theme builder from Pagelines?
PageLines Experiencing Issues - DMS Launch (watch the videos for info and getting started)

It will be open source and free to some level.

I have been waiting for someone to provide a way to design the sites from the front end instead of the editor. I think this will cut my design time in half.

There's nothing else out there like PageLines Design Management System. I'm part of a beta testing group that got early access to it and I was blown away by it. Build websites by dragging and dropping sections on the front end, edit the CSS on the front end, edit text for sections you've built on the front end, CSS3 animations, tons of preconfigured sections...and an awesome community of people!

PageLines DMS truly sits in a category all by itself.

I can't wait to play with it tonight and see how well it works with WooCommerce plugin.

Speaking of plugins, I would love to see something similar to DMS in a plugin that allows you to edit from the front end so you could use any theme, but that might be pushing it..

I've been a Pagelines subscriber for months and was considering canceling my subscription since I didn't use the Pagelines framework very often.

I wonder what additional benefits subscribers will receive regarding DMS? (since the base theme appears to be free)

Looks very interesting for newbies to get something online, but you've still got to graduate to Photoshop and a code editor (EditPlus, gedit...) at some point.

      Why is that?

I use Headway Themes myself and love it! It's also a DMS, but it requires literally no coding, so you can churn out amazing looking sites in a matter of hours.
