2 Ways to Get Paid for your IM expert advice

Reading a recent copy of Inc magazine, I came across an article I found quite interesting.

There are 2 "new" sites that you can sign up and talk to an expert in a certain niche... and pay either by minute, half hour, or hour for their time.

So, if you have a question in a particular niche, you can pick an expert and schedule a call.

Talking to Mark Cuban, for example, will set you back $166 a minute.

Now, here's the thing, they're also looking for experts to sign up and give advice.

So, if anyone here routinely does coaching in the IM market, this may be something to look into.

I signed up with both sites last night, just to see how active they are.

But I noticed there are a lot of niche topics on Internet Marketing and Online Web Businesses.

So, if you're pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Internet marketing and you want to see if you can make a few extra bucks by offering that advice in a phone call, check them out.

The 2 I signed up with are Clarity and LiveNinja.

That is an interesting idea for a site...
I don't think I've ever come across a site like that. I know they're out there for Veterinarians and Medical Dr.'s, but IM experts, that is a unique idea..

    Thanks for sharing, cool find...

Not for Mark Cuban, it isn't.

You might spend that if you've got a real business and a specific business problem - not to chat.

Kay is right, that's per minute for Mr. Cuban! And I'm sure he's getting plenty of calls... some folks will pay that just to say they talked to him!

But on average, I'm finding that many experts charge around $100 per hour for their time.

Both sites were a cinch and free to sign up with, you can login with facebook and/or linkedin and they'll fill in most of your info!

Call me cheap but noone deserves $166/minute for talking! Never in my life i'd pay someone this money..even if money never was an issue!

Every bit of knowledge these people have is most of the times available for free..all it takes is you taking the time to research and test...

So do you think your own time is worth $166/minute?

If you have the question you can find the answer yourself, but for $160 per minute you might expect some one to come up with a few important questions that you haven't thought of (and answer them). If something is standing in the way of your success and they can help you spot the problem and solve it then it could be a bargain.

Sorry but this is a ridiculous response.

What if paying them $166/minute taught you something that would make you $250/minute? Would you still say it isnt worth it?

And sure you could say the information can be found for free, but what if it took you 3 months to find that information when you could have just bucked up and paid for the damn call?

Think about how much "searching for free info" can actually cost you not only in time, but lost sales

I think that's a small minded opinion to have.

If that person had something that was worth more to me than $166/minute then yes, I would pay them that amount all day long.

Value is all relative. Would you pay a guy $166/minute if he gave you a guaranteed way to make $167/minute?

Nope guys..you are only saying that because thats what you know as TRUTH...that is what you were thought and prepared for the whole life ~ i.e
        BEING CONSUMERS -

Sometimes some people break out of the wicked circle called CONSUMERISM and then they seem like super legends...when all they did is stop buying and STARTED selling their knowledge & experience!

Buyers create the markets...product/service/knowledge owner in this case only have to convince you that HIS stuff is worth way more than standard "worthiness"!

AND i say it again...that guy does not deserve being paid $166/minute...it is YOU that think his minute is worth $166!

I hope you can understand this simple logic idea!

PS...i am more open minded that most of the people I've seen (and probably most of the people you've seen)! Thus i revolt against such insane things!
