Associated programmes

For those interested in promoting programmes and receiving commissions on sales without own products..

I would like to promote Affiliate programmes from companies like Associated programmes. And receive commissions from sales..

What would be a good domain name to use for a website designed for such a purpose..

Being a relative newbie, I'm more interested in Affiliate marketing/promoting others products for commissions...
at a later date once I have more confidence and knowledge, then I would be keen on selling my own products, ebooks and the like..

Thoughts from fellow Warriors appreciated

    Wrong question.

Never start with a domain name.

Start by identifying what market/niche is best for you. What skills
knowledge and experience do you have that you can share with the market?

What passions and enthusiasms do you have?

When you've chosen your market/niche, research it fully to identify the real
needs and desires of your target audience.

Then you can start thinking about how best to present your offers and what
domain and site set up will be most appropriate.

Thanks John for the input, my Niche/interest is in emerging and new technologies, though I can concentrate on that, I would rather broaden my scope to more general product range..

Associated Programmes have a great range in which members can promote and earn commissions from, covering a whole spectrum of Internet marketing..

      You're missing the point.

Trying to promote all things to all people requires a massive
investment of time and money... Your "plan" is akin to trying
to replicate sites such as Amazon or eBay.

The issue isn't about a range of products, it's about finding
a tightly focussed group of people with a common problem
or need and the cash to spend on a solution.

When you can identify that group, you have the potential to
      build a profitable online business.

Thanks for that John, I will take all you've said on board.

Points raised certainly make sense, not looking to take on Amazon that's for sure..
