Restoring a website from an expired domain

Hi everyone,

I was wondering... What is the easiest way to restore a website from an expired domain. I usually go to archive.org and restore the whole thing manually page by page. This is fine, but it takes a lot of time! Are there any easier ways, tools or tricks that I didn't think about?

Thanks!
Chris

An expired domain have nothing to do with your website content, simply backup your content using hosting's cpanel or FTP and renew the domain name?

Thanks for the reply. But I'm talking about buying an expired domain from Godaddy auctions (or similar) and restoring the original website that was on this domain. Or at least part of it.

Since I never owned the domain or website, I cannot restore it from a backup. Archive.org is the way to go. I'm just wondering if there are easier ways than manually downloading page by page from Archive.org, removing their scripts, getting all the links back to work, etc.

Are there any tools or services out there which can do this for me?
