How do I get a refund on JVZoo?

Hey WF,

I bought a product on JVZoo which isn't what I thought it was going to be. How do I get a refund? I can't find the information anywhere. I've checked Google and JVZoo's support pages.

This product comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.

Any help?!?

Sanj.

You need to contact the seller of the product you purchased. Their information should be on the JV Zoo receipt you would have received by email after your purchase.

    1. Have you contacted the seller of the product? If not, then do that first.

    2. If you have contacted the seller AND given them a fair enough time to reply (say 4-5 days) then the next step would be to contact JVZoo. If they have a seller who is not standing by their published refund policy then they should know about it.

    3. Last resort if nothing else helps would be to open a Paypal dispute. But this should only ever be a last resort if all attempts to reach the vendor have failed. They can't just ignore Paypal and if they do then the dispute would be ruled in your favor.

Many of them would not honour their refund policy, Paypal dispute is the only effective way against unresponsive merchants.

Hey, be carefull with a PayPal dispute.

I believe JvZoo's policy is to dispute any PayPal dispute and if the product is digital, which it will be if bought through JvZoo, you have no PayPal rights to a refund (unless I am out of date here). Even so, they do advise vendors to refund a disputed payment immediately.

I also read somewhere that, JvZoo's policy also states that they WILL win a dispute and you you will be banned from further purchases through them. If that is so, with serial refunders being an exception, surely JvZoo is shooting itself in the foot?

As a matter of interest, I have just sent them a ticket informing them that one of their very recent products, CashBlurbFormula is asking for JvZoo Customer log in details before it will function. As there has been more than 1000 sales, the vendor must now have over 1000 access details to all present and previous purchases from JvZoo that their customers have made.

Very strange! I am waiting for a reply and will keep you posted.

I don't see how keeping serial refunders out is shooting them in the foot. Clickbank has done nothing to protect its vendors and I avoid them like the plague unless I can control my product after the sale.

Hometutor, you probably do produce great products that is why you do not like when someone tries to still your work which is what I will call those serial refunders who just do it for that purpose.

But it is also wise to look at it from the other side. There are some product producers out there who are just interested in the money they go online and copy from someone slap their names on it and create a sales copy that does not deliver what they are promising. Now you would not blame someone from refunding isn't it

  • If you cannot get this resolved through the seller or JVZoo you can contact yoru credit card company and see if they can do something.

Yes this thread is 2 years old but you replied to it. The replies now can help people that have the same question as the op.

Plus there was a post about PayPal's refund policy that use to be true because of the product being a digital product. But since that post the refund rules have changed in regard to digital products.

    Hey Sanj,

Wondering if you have had any success? I have also been caught out before myself, and had to let it go. I hope that you have better luck than I did.
Make sure you get all you can out of the product before you throw it in the no good bin
