How will Optimizepress 2.0 compare with DAP Digital Access Pass?

Gday - im about to buy one of these 2 themes, Optimizepress 2.0 or DAP Digital Access Pass. OP 2.0 seems to do everything DAP does, its just not available yet. My purchase isnt urgent, should I wait to see how OP 2.0 compares when released? Should be any day...

My site will basically be a marketing letter to sell an ebook which leads to a 12 week online course (video content, PDFs etc.)

    Yes, why not wait and see before you make your purchase. After all Optimize Press 2 will be launching in a couple hours; they are suppose to Launch July 31 (it was July 30th before they changed it a couple days back)

    Optimize Press 2.0 has been updated with quite a bit of features, while I don't know too much about DAP I would suggest if you're not a in rush why not wait a couple hours to make a more informed decision.

    Hoping to grab it when it launch to write a more detailed review.

    I think you are a little confused as to what each product does. I own both. Digital Access Pass is a membership software NOT a Wordpress theme. It does NOT create sales pages, squeeze pages, or anything like that. It is a member management software for locking down your pages and content and controlling all of your members.

    OptimizePress on the other hand is a tool that allows to create sales pages, squeeze pages, membership pages, etc. As far as I know though, OP does not protect any of your pages since it is not a membership software. It will create membership looking pages but it won't protect them.

    To give you an idea, I have several sites that use both Optimize Press (for the sales page) and DAP to lock all of the members content. So it's not really a case of one or the other. You would need both.

    These are 2 different products. DAP is a membership management plug in. OP 2.0 is a Wordpress Theme

    my recommendation is OP had it since version 1.0 over 20+ products sold using it, works great some problems but the guys have solved all of them usually within 2 working days and I have asked probably 30 things to help me with. (not paid for this post so save the nasty replies).

      I love Optimize Press and ive found out a few things about OPv2

      It comes as a theme and plugin so you can have your own theme plus OP as a plugin

      Also there is a Membership plugin called OptimizeMember... still checking this out but looks like i can do away with DAP now as they have setup everything you need including payment integration with Paypal, clickbank, authorize.net and a few other gateways.

      My product access is pretty basic (annual memberships, product downloads etc) so this should work well for me but i know DAP is very comprehensive so some will want to keep that integration for more complex membership sites.

      For me though, the less third parties i have to deal with the better and OP are the real deal with awesome support and great products built from the ground up.

        I currently use Instamember with instabuilder which seems to work well, however i have to say the support on that Optimizepress creators offer is excellent and the framework itself is amazing.

        If anyone is considering purchasing OP V2 then pm me and I can do you a good discount as an official affiliate
