are my clickbank sales being highjacked?

so... my clickbank revenue has gone down 95% in the last two weeks - it is getting the same amount of traffic but no conversion has anyone had this problem before? ( Is the world just not in a buying mood lately lol )

It's hard to say. Are you using paid traffic or search engine traffic? If you're relying on the search engines it's possible that only a handful (or even one) keyword was responsible for most of your sales and the page you had ranking for that particular term may have dropped.

Are you tracking sales from each page on your site? If not, you should be. If you know which keyword phrases are converting you may be able to use both free and paid traffic to convert sales, depending on competition and cost per click.

    Good luck.

That's very suspicious. Are you having many refunds for products or simply misleading data coming from the Clickbank app?

Everybody is going on holiday here - could it be that they are looking but not spending until they get back?

My CB sales and some traffic have been down a bit, but I think it's just because of the summer. I think stuff will start to go back up when school starts up, again. In the meantime, I've been working on building more sites in a variety of niches to make up for when there is a slump in another niche. Some niches are like seasonal and stuff.

    Good luck,
    Joey

Your the affiliate right? Maybe the vendor has changed their site?

It might also be which keywords you rank for.

In the case of one of my sites, 80% of my keyword traffic doesn't convert, 19% sort of converts, 1% converts like crazy. So if I wasn't watching closely, I could lose 1% of my traffic (barely noticeable) and lose more than half my sales - or conversely losing 80% or 90% of my traffic, and barely notice the effect on sales.

Sometimes Clickbank's tracking is slow to update. Although 2 weeks seems a little bit much. I have seen it "lag" for 2 or 3 days before though.

Hope you figure it out - my CB sales have stayed about the same. But, to be fair most are vendor sales as I'm not an affiliate for too many CB products (at least not long term).

    Good luck.

    Cheers,
    Coby

dsuitor - I am having same exact issue here. My traffic is actually up a bit - but clickbank sales have basically stopped. Same keywords getting traffic - but clickbank conversions on those words have come to a halt over last 2 weeks. Seems very strange to me. Will dig deeper this weekend and see what we can find.

I must say that my conversions are also down by around 50% but I must think it is because of the summer!

Yeah sales are always down in the summer for me. Also around Christmas.
