paypal vs no paypal on shopping cart

Hey y'all

I've heard for years that having Paypal as an option for customers is a no-brainer... but I've never seen any data to back that.

I'm using infusionsoft... and am using one click upsells... but paypal doesn't allow one-click-upsells. Not the end of the world to include another link on upsell pages to allow people to process another order though paypal, but part of me wonders if it's worth it.

Anyways, if anyone has personal experience with this, or knows of articles/reports/etc. that talk about differences in conversion rates, let me know!

Thanks

Paypal is now used by major brick and mortar retailers. You can even use it in a machine now to get quarters. Follow the success pattern.

Anybody else? Wasn't looking for an obvious statement, but someone with their own experience, or research, to share.

I think we'd all love to hear from someone who stopped using Paypal on their order forms.

Many people do not like handing over their bank/credit card information over the internet. People trust paypal because so many people/businesses use it successfully, and it has security measures to protect your bank information.

Why don't you test it yourself and get your own data?

Someone else's data may be useful, but you may get completely different results.
