Need advice from experienced flippa flippers

Hi all, I'm new to warrior forum, but a 5 year experienced marketer.

I'm venturing out into the flippa world and have put up one of the sites my husband and I own. Starting bid was 100, go a couple of bids. The BIN is 800 and recently someone submitted a BIN.

Before approving it, I looked at his stats and it shows he signed up 2 days ago, and has bid on 6 other listings with 18 bids. Makes me kind of suspicious, but on the other hand a I received a private message from someone who wants to pay higher than the bin. He's signed up 1 year ago with two bids. Showing that's he's logged in from 3 different locations the philipines, canada, and australia.

Neither have any feedback.

Is this just a gamble on who to go with?

Any advice?

Speak to each of them on the phone/Skype and qualify them as buyers.

If they aren't willing to speak live, then don't deal with them.

You definitely shouldn't be "gambling" on who to go with.

Thanks, I decided to go with the guy that had been there a the longest. He bid $400 more than the buy it now price. And the transfer was smooth as can be. Lesson learned though, pricy fees between flippa and escrow.

I try to add on the fees as part of my sales price.

Glad it went smooth for you. I probably would have gone with the one who had been a member the longest also and was willing to pay more That's always a bonus. Escrow fees are worth it though especially when there's any question at all about the buyers.
